Enjoyed the meal but to no fault of the owner (due to Covid-19 restrictions), the outdoor dining was extremely hot. Will plan to go back when it's either cooler temperatures or the restrictions are lifted!

The food and hospitality were awesome. Only regret is that we didn't make reservations for High Tea. Will definitely be back.

Best high tea I've been to, which is on the 2nd floor in a historic building (no elevator). You need make reservations for high tea. They have a cafe that you don't need reservations for. Very good gift shop with a verity of teas, tea pots, cook books, etc.

Delicious. Quaint. Friendly. Reasonable. In a picturesque small town just a few miles off the interstate. We will definitely go back. Great experience.

Whether going for lunch or a planned High Tea with friends, a visit to Laura's never disappoints. My husband's favorite is their Reuben sandwich and their chicken salad is mine. High Tea is always a relaxing treat.

One of those places you would not expect in a small town in South Carolina! A real place for high-tea, it would be just as home in London.
One complaint, though, the prices are remarkably high: prices match those you'd find actually in London! It's easy to find yourself using most of a $20-bill for only two drinks...

Very cute establishment. Good food. OVERPRICED!
$33 per person for high tea--the only option served.
For that you get *one* very small scone per person---seriously? Yep, just one. Aproximately 4 teeny, teeny 'sandwiches' (more like wafers with a dollop of topping) per person. The BLT is actually a miniscule cherry tomato with a smidgen of cheese topped with one bacon fragment---not a sandwich for sure. Barely an hors d'oevre. Sweets were doled out just as parsimoniously.
Our group was told what hot tea they would be served at the outset--no choice on our part. Then later in the meal the group could choose *one* more hot tea for the entire group. Two hot teas total.
Having enjoyed high teas all over the country and in Europe, (and hosted a few of my own) this is the most over-priced one for the amount of food I have ever experienced. C'mon folks---for $33 a person I think you can do better.

Great little place, big sandwiches, huge tea assortment, gift and consignment shops. Parking in back if you want to avoid being on the busy truck route hwy 34
