Everyplace we have gone in this southern community has been hospitable and attentive until we went to JavaJava. The employees need to be trained in how to treat their guests. We are from the west and have been impressed with how we’ve been treated in the south. This establishment is a disgrace!!!! I would give employees less than one star and the food was mediocre.

Angry staff, bad customer service. They charged me for 4 drinks when I only ordered two. They called my name, I said “Oh! I only needed two, but that’s ok!” and took the two I needed. They huffed and puffed and rolled eyes even though I took the drinks with no complaints? Didn’t ask for money back or anything?? They were rude to the other ladies in line and seems like they need a refresh on the staff here. I will not be back and will be telling everyone I know not to go here.

I've been here a few times due to its convenience. The atmosphere is nice it's got a cozy feel to it. The coffee is decent, nothing special.. The reason for the 3 stars is the staff. It is without fail that I find a snobbish attitude whenever I come to get coffee.

Love coming here for their club sandwich and Java java mocha! So delicious. if I’m having a bad day, this definitely makes it better!

The coffee was great, the workers were pretty rude today about 25 mins ago. I would rather have just messaged the owners without leaving this review but couldn't find a social media page for them. Your staff made it abundantly clear today we were inconveniencing them by arriving at closing time. Maybe next time just tell patrons you're closing up versus the passive aggressive slamming things and rolling eyes. Make the hours obvious also, they are partially removed on the door.

Staff was patient, friendly, and helpful!! Service was quick considering the very long line, and the food was DELISH!! Highly recommend the chicken ranch panini, coffee cake, and berry delight!

Food is great! Coffee is good. Baristas and staff including management have consistently been rude 9 out of the 10 visits I’ve ever made.

Great great great great great coffee! Wow it’s good. The girls really try their best to make everyone move along quickly and get everything they need. The food is pretty good too. Only problem is that this place is so expensive it makes Starbucks blush! But great all around

Every time I come to Kiawah and visit Java Joes, the food and staff are exceptional. Each item my family and I have tried are better than the last. It’s often busy, but that’s cause it’s so good! worth the wait!

Received two stars because quality of coffee was good. Service was horrendous!! No one welcomed us, as we entered. Young girl taking our order was snotty and unwelcoming. Never smiled or said thank you.
