Stopped here on the way to the beach cause heard the croissant sandwiches are the best. Got some pimento cheese on that. Real good. There’s a wait for a reason. If you’re in a hurry, just cancel your plans. It’s worth it. Also nitro cold brew could be considered a controlled substance. Very strong and very delicious.

Off the chain, to die for breakfast sandwiches. Fresh croissants, egg, cheese and sausage patty. Coffee is hot and fresh. Staff friendly. Best $10 spent after a beautiful sunrise at IOP.

The quality of this coffee is sublime. Great vibe and I've never ordered anything that I didn't love! We look forward to coming back here every year.

There are not a lot of quality coffee places within walking distance in this area. If you are in a hurry, do not go here. The coffee is fine, but the staff definitely operates on constant vacation time. When I went, it was a bit busy, so by the time I ordered I could already see how many drinks were ahead of mine. I was able to leave, after ordering, go across the street to Harris Teeter, grab some random baked goods, get back to the coffee shop, and still had to wait another five minutes for my coffees.

I was born and raised on the Island, and it's fantastic to see how many new restaurants and cafes are popping up around town. Cafe Panama is no exception! Wonderful coffee and exceptional breakfast croissants, as well as a nice little area inside to sit and read awhile. Of course the wait times are a little long at times, but what do you expect? Quality takes time. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Updated review; fantastic croissants and coffee - very authentic. The owners encourage reservation on the chocolate croissants, and occasionally have their pastry selection sitting out. Big thanks to restaurant and its team for fixing some customer experience issues I originally had. Cheers.
