Today was our first time to come to the cottage, we were very much looking forward to having breakfast there and unfortunately was a very bad experience. First off there was only one server and too many customers. We ordered the crab cake Benedict and the shrimp and grits, both were pretty bad. Crab cake was full of corn and carrots which tasted frozen to me, this was probably the worst crab cake I had so far, the sauce on top tasted weird as well, the potatoes that came to the side were burnt to the point there was black pieces in them. The shrimp and grits didn’t taste right at all and it had clumps. And we ended up paying almost $60 for breakfast with a coffee and a Bloody Mary.
This place was highly recommended from a lot of people but based on my experience today, I don’t think I’ll be coming back

We had stopped by last minute before we went back home from our honeymoon, these lovely ladies let us in even after they were closing up just so we could try this place out before we left. They were absolute dolls for that, it was so thoughtful of them to do that for us.

I had a lemon bar, I swear y’all I could have had like 6 of those things if I could. It was that good! I even tried my husband’s chocolate, caramel, pecan brownie. Goodness gracious!! It was rich, gooey, and down right delicious!!

I highly recommend this place!

Only open for breakfast and lunch. Be sure to check out the bakery items as well.

We’ve been coming here for years and always love the food.
We Stopped in tonight and enjoyed ourselves, but felt rushed.
Our salad arrived and maybe three minutes later, our meals arrived.
There appeared to only be one server and a food runner, maybe that’s all you need for a fast kitchen. They have a great assortment of wines and the food is always great, Just wish they got the other parts under control.

We had the best brunch ever here today! We seemed to have two servers who were equally friendly and told us more about the restaurant’s history and decor. Absolutely DELICIOUS food and they had an amazing selection of tea. Something on the menu for everyone. Fresh, quick, and very lowcountry style. Would highly recommend. :)

Excellent place for lunch in Bluffton. Salads and sandwiches are amazing. High quality ingredients, skilled preparation, quaint ambiance.

Great little cozy restaurant. Pet friendly. Great menu full of something for everyone. I had the crab Benedict, one of the poached eggs was over cooked but didn't ruin the dish. Overall, 6 people enjoyed the dishes, atmosphere and people.
