Come here every year. Large selection of menu items plus several daily specials. Very fresh and high quality ingredients for for foodies and for regular Joes like me. Great wait staff! Pictures are of my loaded loaded shrimp Cobb and wife's fried green tomatoes.

Delicious, Charming, and Dog Friendly! I go there frequently for breakfast with my Walker Hound because of the good food and relaxing atmosphere. Dogs are welcome on the patio. It is more expensive for breakfast than other places, but I enjoy the better quality of the food as well as the good doggie menu. Service is friendly and efficient.

Wow. We did the afternoon tea. By reservation only. It was wonderful. Huge tea selection. Service was great. Sweets and sandwiches wonderful. Great experience!!

The Cottage was highly recommended for their out of this world deserts and tomato pie.
The tomato pie is not what you'd expect. It had no resemblance of a traditional tomato pie (pizza).
It's more like a pot pie with chunks of tomatoes and cheeses with parsley. Sadly no basil but we asked for it to be added to the top. Silly me I'd thought they would add it AFTER cooking not during.
The pie itself was tasty but if you think this is a traditional tomato pie you'll be surprised.
The Monte Cristo sandwich was tasty but greasy and very little cheese and meat. It was a panini so it was not deep fried so everything between the bread was not hot and nothing really melted.
The main attraction are the endless list of deserts. Unfortunately they only have a very limited selection on any given day so if your mouth is watering for your favorite you better call because chances are they won't have it.
The peach tart was overwhelmed with an almond flavored crust you could not taste any peach whatsoever.
All in all a decent place but be aware not the best place around.

Quaint, charming cafe. Delicious food. Good service. We paid a total of $50.00 for 2 gourmet sandwiches, 2 ice teas & one big cookie, including tip.

I’ve wanted to try the cottage for many years and we finally did on the 4th of July. It was just myself and my daughter and the prices were slightly astounding. There was nothing much that caught my eye on the brunch menu, but I ordered the beef dip sandwich that ended up being turkey? And my daughter ordered a waffle that was the red white and blue special. I thought my daughters waffle was the best thing we had but not sure why a waffle and fruit cost $17. My sandwich was tasty when dipped in aus ju, bit also not worth $17. Overall didn’t feel welcomed or attended to by our waitress. I would possibly try again if in the area, but there are other places that are better value for the money.

We had lunch and it was wonderful. Food was delicious, we sat outside in January and it was perfect, and service exemplary.

Genuinely one of the best places I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere, the food, the music, the people, this place radiates such a good vibe. I’m a huge shrimp and grits fan, and The Cottage’s takes the cake. Served with a side of sweet cornbread and house salad, the meal itself is super delicious. The shrimp is full of flavor and comes right out of the shell, the grits are cheesy and warm, and the mushrooms and bacon add a perfect touch. If you’re in Bluffton, SC I highly recommend you check out The Cottage. Y’all were amazing!
