Amazing cute cafe! We were referred by a friend to come here and it was a perfect choice.
We ordered breakfast burritos, cappuccino (it had a very lovely message on the cup), croissant “ham, egg and cheese” sandwich, and two green juice “fresh green apple, ginger and cucumber”.
Everything was delicious and freshly made and what I what I loved about their establishment is that everything is compostable an eco-friendly. Plus if you are looking for experiences in Puerto Rico they have a map of the island and all their recommendations with phone numbers. Check out the photos below.
Being an objective critic, it is a bit difficult to give 5 stars accross the board. However, this time was certainly not the case for "La Cafetera." A local food truck located in the quite, rural, yet natural paradisiac town of Rincón. P.R.
They have a side tent to have your breakfast outdoors with a limited number of tables but nicely garden-like decorated with some flowers and beautiful artisian carved wood tables and logs for seats. Surely a nice touch.
The service is just splendid, amicable, and very helpful. Soft-spoken attendant with great attention to customers. Very affordable prices for the quality of food. The food is superb and cooked to order.
Good selection of healthy choices as well as savory local favorites like boricua breakfast. Very satisfying and tasteful. It is what we have and I recommend you try it with the artisian bread (pan criollo).
The coffee is P.R. local from Ciales (known for its great coffee). Simply fine and delicious in any form: black, cappuccino, latte, americano.
One of us have a light breakfast: pan criollo toast with butter. Oh boy! You know food is good quality and well prepared when something as simple and humble as butter toast tastes like heaven...dunk it in your coffee like grandma' used to do. Right on!!!
I strongly recommend this establishment during your visit to Rincón. It is definitely a must do in your check list so make sure you check it out! Kudos to "La Cafetera" for demonstrating the good things in life are not necessarily surrounded by superfluos luxury and material things but rather, the "good things" are embedded in your moments of quiteness, humility, simplicity and quality thoughts. Just like the quotes they (La Cafetera team concept) write in each of the coffe cups they serve customer. Who knows, maybe the Divine Providence will speak to you in misterious ways..
I took the time to write this review, for I trully enjoyed this opportunity of finding this gem. Enjoy!
Best place in the island, you must go! Coffee is delicious and Breakfast are very fresh and made in house. They are big enough that you can share. Mara is sweet and everyone else in there is so friendly. Cant wait to be back
This was the best meal we’ve had in PR so far! The most incredible breakfast burritos, perfectly layered with delicious fruity hot sauce and sour cream on the side. The lattes and the iced americano was also amazing! 15/10, we will be back tomorrow :)
We’re SO glad we randomly decided to stop here, none of us even knew what we wanted for breakfast, little did I know I’d be VERY pleasantly surprised with excellent quality, a flavorful experience, and some mouth watering homemade hot sauce I’ll never forget. It was the perfect morning I didn’t know I needed. But on top of ALL that, the customer service from the owners/employees was above and beyond. We wish we’d found them sooner in our trip because we’re leaving tomorrow! Luckily for us, when we asked if we could buy a bottle of their hot sauce, they went out of their way to make it for us BEFORE we left the next day. Are you kidding me? Insane. Make sure you stop here! We’ll never forget you!
