Java Madness

We stopped there for quick coffee break during our Newport RI trip. This is decent coffee place with great location. Their coffee was average but location and outdoor patio is 💯

Very friendly neighborhood coffee and lunch place. Good sandwiches (reuben, veggie, are great).
Good live music. Nicely decorated and enjoyable wind-shaded/sun-shaded deck.

The staff was very helpful and super pleasant. The system wouldn't recognize my card, and he comped my order, which was a fantastic thing to do,and unexpected. Coffee is really good,and the breakfast sandwich is too. I would definitely recommend this place,and would surely come back again. Great customer service.

Enjoy many coffee choices and snackables. Relaxing view of the salt pond while enjoying coffee outside is just a peaceful time. The cafe workers are always working hard to meet the customer needs. A great place to visit again and again

Coffee was just ok, lemon pound cake was expired over 2 days old (per their own date on it). Tasted like sand paper , it was dry, and we simply tossed in the garbage and went somewhere else. Kids running the show... a bit careless.

Laid back coffee shop with eclectic, rustic decor. There is a spacious back deck open in the summer that overlooks a scenic marina. The food menu is limited compared to a full service restaurant but extensive as coffee shops go (including lunch sandwiches). The coffee itself is nothing to write home about but certainly better than average and worth the trip when coupled with the ambiance.

Stopped while in town for breakfast. Ordered an iced coffee with a breakfast sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese. Coffee was good and the sandwich was hot and made to order. My bagel was just sliced and not toasted as requested, but being crunched for time with a LONG line out the door to outside, I didn’t have time to have it fixed

*seat cushions beware. No padding, so you literally sink/crash down into the black leather seats with an indent from all of the sitting

Really wasn't satisfied with the service, food or beverages here. They did have a great live bad during brunch hour.

Turkey club: tasted like airport food. If I visit again I would have them make the sandwich since they just grabbed it from the window and from the board I thought they would've made day of. My sandwich was soggy and not the best. The pickle was really good tho!

Chai latte: they wouldn't serve frozen drinks which is what I wanted so I order the chai latte and it wasn't mixed well. The bottom of the drink was covered in raw sugar/chai mix which didn't dissolve when mixing.

Quiche: served cold and since they were busy they would not heat? Which if I knew would not have ordered.

Music: really good and entertaining
