Really, really good!
This place is great! I got the grilled cheese and added onion, tomato, and bacon. It ended up being around $16, which is fairly pricey. It was excellent though, high quality ingredients, good portion size, and great flavor. You may have to wait a bit, but in my opinion, it’s worth it! 🙂

We found this place as we were looking for a surprised addition to our lunch picnic at our bike stop on East Bay Bike Path. That was a very pleasantly surprised. Their pot pie might be the best pot pie we have ever had. The pastry was very light and flaky, and the filling was very creamy and tasty.

I've visited for both breakfast and lunch. delicious coffee, lots of food options to choose from ranging from heavier dishes such as eggs/breakfast sandwiches, etc. to pastries in a display case. I enjoyed an amazing butternut squash/kale salad for lunch. there's plenty of outdoor seating for the nicer days, a bike rack, and indoor seating upstairs. pay at the counter before seating yourself! all very simple, and every interaction I've had with the staff was pleasant :) can't go wrong with the Beehive Cafe.

We eat here often and love the food. We went Saturday evening and loved seeing the new decor. For us, the portions are pretty large and we both ordered the chicken sandwich with chickpeas. Delicious! We could only eat 1/2 and have lunch for the next day. A true highlight was our server, Cassidy. If you are lucky, you will get Cassidy as your server too. So, overall, loved the service, the food, the new decor and the sunset from the upstairs windows!

Cute little cafe serving pastries, breakfast and lunch. Love this place. Had the chicken pot pie with side hash browns and mix greens. Simply awesome spot.

We stopped in from Pennsylvania while visiting our Friends who live locally. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere was great! Would definitely eat here again.

Pleasant atmosphere, good breakfast and lunch foods. Fast service and
a person to organize and seat customers as they arrive ...
Because this restaurant is so popular there may be a short wait time but there is attention to seating incoming
Customers. Clear acrylic panels still
Protect people in separate booths.
Masks not required. 1-23

The Beehive is my favorite place to grab brunch in East Bay. Their staff is so friendly and fun, their service is also always on point. They have the best mimosas, and everything I've eaten there has been spectacular. I particularly love their Cornbread Hash, Black Bean Fritters, and Bacon & Brown Sugar Pancakes if you're looking for recommendations.

A really cozy wonderful spot to visit. I like their coffee. The breakfast sandwich I had was pretty good, but I would probably try something different if I returned. Finding a place to sit is pretty tricky as they’re usually bustling.

With a 30 min wait to place the order and a 30 min wait to get our food i thought it was going to be really good, however it was not. We made the mistake of tipping not realizing we had to bus our own table and were told there were seats when we ordered and there were not. When the waitress brought us our food we requested glasses of water and she said she would get them and never came back. Not sure how self bussing ensures the table was clean before we sat down. Especially after I found the table cleaner in the bathroom. Food wasn't bad but not worth the money we paid.
