We love Village Inns in general and have patronized them since the 1970s and when we pulled into town for fuel it was natural to head to the V.I. for lunch. We should have known something was wrong as the place was virtually empty during the lunch hour and sure enough we were treated to service that wasn’t just bad, it was dismissive and spectacularly rude especially by the hostess and when it became clear that the waitress wasn’t going to be bothering to exert herself by actually serving us (there was only 1 other table occupied in her section of the dining room) we bailed. We are just a couple of retirees passing through in a Subaru with our adult son.

Absolutely the best food I've ever had from a Village Inn in my entire life. Every single time I visit, the food is made to perfection. If they ever have the fried onion crisps, ASK FOR THOSE over onion rings! They are so good!!
Fantastic service from Amy, food was good but took way too long. What's the deal with the general manager who I never see doing anything other than occasionally sitting someone or roll silver while on Facebook? Parking lot is a nightmare that needs to be addressed.

We like the food and service, but it is so cold in the building, bathrooms need updating too.
We came with a party of 12, which can sometimes be a challenge. They accommodated us without skipping a beat. Our server was amazing, very friendly, made sure everyone had full drinks and everything they needed. Was very impressed by wish I would've gotten her name!
Above average for a chain restaurant. The food was acceptable but nothing outstanding. Service was okay. The server was at least friendly. I just don't like the commercial feel of some chains and this is one.
Cost of the food was not equal to the quality of the food. The server was nice but didn't check on us when we had empty drinks for 10+ minutes. We couldn't even see her to flag her over. Plus the restaurant was not busy.
We have had two fantastic breakfasts at this local village inn.
They are a good place to eat. Nice workers. Clean.
