Came here to escape a thunderstorm on my motorbike. Staff was incredible kind and atmosphere is fantastic. I had a Burundi drip coffee and savory waffles- absolutely loved it. Come around if you are in town. It's awesome.

Disappointed. Went with the coffee shop with the best reviews and ended up with below average experience. Lid on the cup does not fit well and coffee would drip with every sip. Americano was just ok, not worth the $5. I would skip this coffee shop in the future.

Excellent single origin beans, with several options for pour overs and French presses. Super friendly people behind the counter.

Absolutely loved this shop. Friendly warm and cozy. The type of books I have at home on my own shelf to read. A place I would like to visit again when I come back to Rawlins. My daughter and I had a small breakfast, a coffee and Chai. Don’t pass this place by.

Clean place fantastic locally roasted coffee. They also sell their own whole bean coffee! The owners are so nice and really give a warm cozy atmosphere. By far my favorite coffee place in town.

I stopped off at Mukwano when I was traveling cross country a few months ago. It is conveniently located near I-80, and I was delighted to find they offer great organic single origin coffee and waffles. While I was sitting in the the shop, I couldn't help but notice all the locals that came in. It was so nice to see how much the coffee shop meant to the locals as it provides a community space for locals to hang out. I also met Taya who works at the shop and makes beautiful well crafted burn art hats that are displayed inside the shop. I couldn't leave without buying one. This was such a nice find. I will certainly be back if I go cross country again. Cheers and thank you!

Great little spot right off I-80. They have a varied menu, take the time to make their beverages, and even have fresh leige waffles if you're looking for a treat.

We were stuck in Rawlins the night before Thanksgiving due to road closures. The next day we went to both coffee shops in Rawlins and both seemed closed. When we pulled up to Mukwano, one of the staff opened up the door and offered to make us coffee even though they weren’t open. The kindness and coffee fueled the next four hours of our trip. And to top it off, the coffee is excellent. Sincere service and home brewed coffee!

Love this hidden gem and the story behind it. It’s a family business with personal touches everywhere from the Saturday homemade donuts to the handmade syrups. I tried the brown sugar cardamom and it was delicious! The Apple fritter was one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely check this place out!

Love the flavor of Mukwano's coffee. They have a frozen mocha that is great. I drink them way too fast tho!
