The staff is incredibly sweet and welcoming to everyone. The outdoor seating is comfortable and has a nice mix of shade and sunny spots throughout the time I was there. The coffees are delicious and all of the food looks incredible. I am grateful that the patio is dog friendly. It's really cool that the have a pay-it-forward program as well. Great people, great food and great vibes.

Cute little place with a comfortable vibe. They have all of the alternate milks for those with dairy allergies. Pastries are yummy, we had a cookie and a Pain Au Chocolat. The Finch smoothy was good as was the last milk latte.

Everything about this place was amazing. Staff were so great and chatty, the vibes were on point, and it is clearly a safe space for me, and my friends, and my partner. They had delicious VGF options on the menu, and great books, too. And the restrooms had the best signage 💕

Great food, great drinks, and awesome atmosphere. The quiche is always fantastic, and there's a great range of interesting soups and salads. Only one option per day, but it's always something different, without going too far into experimental territory. It can get kind of cramped, but it attracts a bookstore/coffeehouse crowd, so volume doesn't really get to be a problem.

I always come to Night Heron when I need a pick me up. It’s a lovely little cafe that is also a secondhand book store. They also sell art from local artists and it’s just so lovely. Definitely one of my favorite places in town.

I've been there twice in the two days that I've spent in Laramie. That's to say how much I loved this place! The mix of a second hand bookstore with a café is lovely. Different kind of people visit, either to read a book or work, or both! Had the veggie, potato and egg burrito topped with sour cream and DELICIOUS salsa and it was yummy yummy. Didn't take a picture before eating it haha. Oh and the tea selection is amazing (I can't comment on coffee because I don't drink any.)

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS Stopped in while awaiting the opening of I80. Good coffee and iced tea. Sat here and did paperwork. The young ladies running the place were friendly and helpful.

Expansive, multistory, multi-business bookstore, coffee, and food stop. Try their smokey Bison panini! You'll want to get 2 it is sooo good. 😋😋 When you're done throwing back a great cup of coffee, or tea from their extensive list, climb a ladder and browse a ton of books! Not impressed? Head upstairs for more, still not finding the right one, pass through a door into the next business over, which is another 2 story bookstore! 🤯🤯

As a veteran, I have trouble feeling comfortable in public places. However, I felt very comfortable here. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the people are very pleasant. This place is exactly what I was needing.

I often forget Night Heron because I am not a coffee drinker, so when we go, it is for their breakfast burritos, which I would argue are the best ones in town that are handheld rather than smothered in a green chili. Add a world-class pastry and you're probably overstuffed until dinner. Today I went for lunch for the first time and Night Heron has suddenly launched to the top of my lunch list after the best soup and salad of my life. Don't sleep on this gem like I'd been. The small bookstore atmosphere alone is worth a visit if you are new to Laramie. Oh, and I hear the coffee is great too.

I was visiting Laramie from out of state and Night Heron came highly recommended. I'm glad I went! I didn't stay long, so I didn't have time to try the food itself, but I did have a pastry that I enjoyed alongside a matcha. Great and friendly service and I appreciated being surrounded by books. I could see this being a nice space to stay a few hours in!

Visited here for lunch on 4 October 2018 following the recommendation of an archivist at the American Heritage Center. If you're a book lover, as soon as you walk in, you feel welcomed by the floor-to-ceiling bookshelves that cover the two side walls. Recent used hardcovers and paperbacks are available along with vintage books, all organized by subject. I ordered a shot-in-the-dark to drink and a breakfast burrito to eat. During the brief wait while my food was cooked, I browsed the bookshelves and spotted a good variety of titles. When my food came, it was cooked perfectly and the quiet atmosphere was relaxing for lunch. After eating, I went upstairs to browse the books located there. In the end, I got two used books. A 1911 hardcover about Buffalo Bill as a gift for my father and a 1953 hardcover of Arthur C. Clarke's "Childhood's End" for myself, both in excellent condition. I'll definitely visit here again!

Loved the coffee (4 shot breve latte was perfect). I nearly couldn't drag my teenage book lovers out of there. One 13-year-old said, why don't we have something like this in our town!

I’ve ordered coffee here 3 times, and I must say it’s the sloooowest coffee service I’ve ever encountered. If the place is empty, plan on waiting 15 minutes before your beverage is ready. If it’s crowded, you’ll wait half an hour. Never again.
