Coal Creek Coffee Uptown

First I will say that my wife liked her latte but, $6, wow. I asked about the croissants. I wanted to see what a $5.80 croissant looked like. I still don't know. I ordered a small light roast drip and boy was it small and it must have sat on the burner for an hour and half. Yeck! Also, the girl at the register had an attitude.

Ordered a plain cold brew coffee, as I do at any coffee establishment. It was one of the most terrible drinks I've ever had. It was sour and tasted like the container it was made in was moldy and unwashed. Didn't think it was possible to mess up cold brew coffee but apparently you can. The breakfast sandwich on the other hand was decent at least.

Coffee tastes great but prices are a little bit high!

The coffee was amazing. The service was amazing as well. I was so amazed at the large cup of coffee filled to the brim. It was brought to my table, and she didn't spell a drop. There was also the neatest heart in the foam on the top. It had a great taste and really hit the spot.

Tea cake was excellent, croissant was perfect. Chai was exactly the way I wanted it. Highly recommended!!!

Cozy, friendly place where you can chill, work, and/or do both! The service is amazing and the coffee is good enough. Speciality: Banana bread!

This is a great coffee shop in Laramie. The coffee was strong and on point. The flavour profiles were perfect, definitely recommend the lavender latte and the Gilbraltar if you need an extra kick. Sandwiches were also great and the buffalo panini was very tasty. If you're in the area, definitely recommend Coal Creek Coffee

Great atmosphere and service. Wonderful place to relax or study. The spicy iced Chai and quiche were delicious

Today, I was disappointed by the service and training of the staff. I had envisioned enjoying a warm croissant and cappuccino together. The croissant came in a timely manner. The cappuccino took over 20 minutes (at a time with fewer than 10 customers in the restaurant). The croissant was cold by the time the coffee was served. When I reminded the staff I had other items in my order they were surprised. They had lost track of them and did not know how to make the Orange Slider we ordered. Thankfully, they canceled this item when we asked them to and refunded our money. Their service and and quality of the baked goods is sliding down the creek.

Absolutely love the coffee, but the customer service is 10/10. Thank you so much!

Best coffee in the town

Found Coal Creek on Yelp during a short stay in Laramie. Was very impressed by the service and the menu—they also had great outdoor and indoor seating. The coffee was delicious, especially the lattes! Highly recommend.

One of two here in Laramie that we’ve seen. Enjoyed the Americano double shot coffee and French toast. Great ambience with seating outside.

Coffee was okay, but expensive as hell. 1 star because the staff are incredibly rude and slow, and offered sneers and snippy remarks. Will stick with the place a little farther east across from Fernando's, they don't seem to hate their jobs and that alone makes the coffee worth the cost. I was really hoping the experience would be better, I dig the name and interior motif quite a bit.

I like going to both Coal Creek locations, but seriously $7 for a double shot latte? That’s a full $2 more than Starbucks.

Probably the most expensive coffee shop I've ever been to but the coffee was good, cute interior.

Edgy atmosphere - which I like - and friendly staff. First time ever having sourdough banana bread - and I highly recommend it!
