After reading some of the reviews, I gave this place a 2 instead of a 1, simply because so many positive reviews makes me wonder if these kids may have been having a really rough day or two. My husband and I love to try new places, and since we're spending a week here in Gillette, we took the opportunity to cruse the town looking for something unique, and this place caught our eye. We love a good burger joint! Unfortunately, the experience we received today was definitely not what we had hoped for and rather disappointing to boot. To start, our cashier was on her first day, and the two boys in the back were not very helpful despite her requests, so it ended up taking 10 minutes to order our meals. Which we're very patient we understand, no big deal. Plus it wasn't as long a wait to receive our order. So that was nice. When we tried to get our drinks from the soda fountain, they tasted strange, so we alerted the cashier, and between the 3 of them there, they couldn't figure out how to fix it. So we just drank tea. Now unfortunately when we got our order, my burger was not what i had ordered (this one had Jalapeño and no bbq sauce) but by this time they were so busy and struggling to keep up with the orders they had, that i simply scraped off the peppers instead of trying to get it fixed. The half I ate was really dry, but the flavor was very nice.. seasoning was spot on and the cheese melted perfectly. My cheese curds were also fantastic. My husband got the loaded fries with cheese, which the fries themselves were also great! Fresh, crispy and perfectly salted, but the cheese was just shredded and tossed on top, it didn't melt or anything, and halfway through the fries he found mold on the cheese. :( So we said let's toss it and get outta here. As for the state of the dinning room.. the floor was very sticky, it made my toddler giggle as his feet made a strange noise on it. 80% of the tables were blocked off and the ones left were quite dirty as well. We love the food but giving a three star because their dining room and bathrooms are never taken care of. Every time I’ve gone there tables are dirty. Half the time theres no customers in there with 3 people working. This last Sunday there was soda caked on the counter by the soda machine and the trash bin leaked out on the floor. Made me lose my appetite. When we had arrived everyone was sitting around on their phones. Would have much higher potential if they made cleanness a priority..

It’s a fun place to go into well to me. The food is always made fresh and I usually get the steak house burger. But today I opted for the mighty mo and it did not disappoint. So it’s a must try and the waffle fries. I really have no complaints about this place it’s one of favorite places to eat in Gillette. Next time you are passing through town stop here and get you a burger or sandwich with a side of waffle fries. Sorry today I didn’t get many pics

The burger I had here was the BEST that I’ve had in a LONG time. Juicy. Fresh. Just amazing.

They have gluten free baguette's! A wide variety of deli sandwich combinations and pre designed sandwiches. Soups were good and sandwiches were creative and filled out bellies. The sauces were probably the part that stood out the most. Wasn't blown away, but would probably order from here again.

I have generally found this store excellent, but was disappointed in quality and quantity today. Their jumbo chicken wings for $16.50 looked like they had been fried and refried several times. I urge Smiling Moose to use fresher wings. The staff said the ‘Mighty’ version ($12.19) of their Ridgeline Pastrami sandwich contains double the amount of meat in the regular version ($8.69). But it looked no different from the regular version I have ordered before, and definitely had less meat than the pastrami sandwiches in New York City, where I am based. The two stars are for polite staff, who filled my order promptly.

Food is okay. But yesterday was the second time there was an issue with the items. Last time they put the sandwich sideways in the bag and it leaked and broke the bag. Yesterday the soup they gave us had a hole in it. My poor father was holding the bag in his lap and it got all over him and my car seats. Luckily he had snow pants on otherwise it would have burned his lap. Sadly I had to spend an hour cleaning chicken noodle soup off my car seats and flooring. We picked up the soup container and saw the hole at the bottom, which caused this whole mess. This will be the last time we give them any business.

Had the creekside Greek salad, it was very good. Husband ordered a burger, no one said it did or didn't come with fries. It didn't. $9 for only a burger was a little much. But other than that the food was very good.

This place definitely has variety, which I like. I've only tried the fries, cheese curds and tex mex burger. (I think that's what it was called) I am not a burger fan, so next time I'll try something else.

The burgers were fabulous. We bought a single cheese burger, cheese curds, a BBQ burger and a kids meal hot dog. Cheese curds were $7 but they were very good. Total bill was $37.

If I could give this a negative review I would! I can't believe how the teenage boys that work there talk to the young ladies calling them crude names. Not an enjoyable experience to watch! Its unfortunate that the boys think they had the power to degrade anyone do to the management allowing the way these kids talking to one another.
