Owners are the best. Friendly and down to earth. If you need a good coffee, come downtown to this gem. You won't regret it.
Came here because we are truckers and this place wasn't to far from where we parked. I got a Banana Latte and a Chocolate cookie dough Latte and they was both delicious 😋 I also got the Rancher bagel which was also really good. Staff was friendly as well. I'll be back the next time I come through.
Excellent place to have a great morning start
Friendless people around!
Had a friend in town from Southern California and we needed a place to eat. We both had a great meal service was better and it's just a good place to go. Took off one star because the bagels were not good at all.
This is the spot where all the cool people go. Great place for off-beat humor and puns by Pete. Great food served here.
The absolute best owners, and the most amazing Italian Cream sodas I've ever had!
Best place in town for coffee and breakfast! Lots of room, your never crowded or feeling like you should leave or eat fast to clear the table.
We love coming to Pete's for their great food and service. They are so friendly and we are so happy they stay open until 5! 😃
Best place in Evanston to get coffee great service and people
A fun, personal experience! Food was great, service was fantastic, and as advertised, the bad puns were amazing!
Good coffee and friendly atmosphere. Perfect place to read & relax
Really great coffee here! And very friendly staff too! Glad we decided to stop at this place 💖
Great cup of coffee an enjoyable breakfast nice lil spot to relax before getting back on the road in the morning
Decent food. Decent art.
Best coffee around! My go-to is a white chocolate mocha. I could drink this daily!
Loved this place. Very friendly staff
Pete is a gem, eclectic, coffee is great!
I love this place. Pete is a friendly and good-natured fellow and Jen is one of my favorite people in town. She's always coming up with great pastries. All the staff are most pleasant. I like the large open space and variety of tables and chairs. Free internet of course. If you just want coffee there's plain coffee and the lattes and stuff. If you want breakfast or sandwiches there's a decent menu. Two nice features are the display of local art work and shelves of books that people contribute. If you want one of the books you pay what you think it's worth. It's right downtown across from the county government offices and four blocks from the old restored roundhouse where they're also restoring an old steam engine. Serious railroad action there. Lots of parking and about seven blocks from one interstate exchange.
Very nice good food pleasant employees
