I'm in love with this place! Unfortunately I was just passing through Cheyenne, but I'm so glad I stopped by The Hawthorn Tree. Definitely my kind of multipurpose store/café! I had the Bancha green tea which was lovely, even after one water refill, and the pesto and chicken sandwich. Except for the fact that it comes in a plastic container even though you eat in (which I understand, I think sandwiches and salads are being made somewhere else?), it was delicious and I enjoyed the clementines and baby carrots. Other than the sitting area at the front (which is well served with power outlets, even at the seats by the windows), the store and bulk section is amazing. Lots of great spices, herbs and teas. New books to purchase too, ceramics, jewelry, soaps and other hygiene items. Go there, you won't be disappointed!

Nice little tea shop. Good place to go to get out especially during the winter. Chill atmosphere and while you can order tea made, you can also buy locally made honey as well as an array of different teas for home.

Love this charming inviting tea shop, plus soooooo much more! In the heart of downtown it is a lovely place to visit with family, friends, or alone. The tea's are incredibly delicious, difficult to decide which to choose! So many fun unique items to shop for. With assistance from well-educated staff I've created mixtures of teas for myself and to give as gifts. 😊 So many high quality medicinal herbs to improve health. Susan and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Hawthorne Tree is a definite must. This fabulous locally run business is a wonderful addition to Cheyenne. 😃

I went in to get some golden milk and spoke with Rebecca about an issue with my health. She suggested an herbal tea and told me to drink it and the issue would resolve the next day. It was right on time, worked just as she described. I will 100% be back to purchase more herbs and teas and that golden milk is the best I’ve ever had! Wonderful people and wonderful service. The food is delicious. I just can’t say enough good things!

One of our favorite tea shops ever!! The ambiance here is so relaxing, with plants everywhere, nice and welcoming decoration and layout, and a wide selection of delicious teas. The employees are also always very friendly. Would very highly recommend - this place is a gem! We drive an hour just to go here. :)

This place has a friendly staff a very inviting and home-like atmosphere. Delicious baked treats and healthy food options and live music sometimes. They offer a massive selection of various plants and herbs to make thousands of combinations for just about any kind of tea you can think of. From medicinal teas to just crazy tasteful teas, I'm sure there's a tea for you at the Hawthorne Tree.

Sunny and unhurried place where you can sit down and relax, combined with a tea shop. The service is very slow because they're spend time building relationship with customers. It took us a while to make purchase. I don't recommend this place for coffee but they have a great variety of teas. If you like scones, apple & blue cheese ones are really nice there. Chocolate chip option was very salty.

I stopped by this place while traveling through Cheyenne, and they made a fantastic Golden Milk tea for me. Was sore from hiking the day before and the turmeric totally hit the spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend this store.

My second time visiting here and it was just as magical as the first. This time, I had the chance to meet the owner and she is just lovely! There is such a great variety of products in her store and to top it off, a charming cafe. Definitely worth a visit if you're in downtown Cheyenne.
