Good food and staff,
Cute place! Great service, awesome bloody Mary’s!
We’ve been going to this restaurant for about eight years now. This used to be our favorite place for Friday night Fish Fry. We’re not quite sure what happened but the past two years or so this place has gone DOWNHILL!! One waitress is quite rude (she’s always wearing a black face mask) and it seems that the kitchen staff is even WORSE!! So Happy to see that two new restaurants are opening up in the Minocqua / Woodruff area. We will no longer recommend the Holiday Cafe to anyone.
Went for breakfast and had biscuits and gravy. It was great. Hubby had lemon blueberry pancakes. He hated the lemon sauce. To much and to overpowering for him. Pancakes were as huge, if not a little bigger than the plate. Big fat blueberries. Downside it's dated and not well lit but that's a typical eating establishment in Northern WI.

We were a large group of 22. They set up two tables for us side by side. Our two servers were smiling and pleasant and efficient. They also made great cocktails without a bar tender. Food was delivered hot and timely. Absolutely great experience
Can't go wrong! ALWAYS a good meal! Food is consistently excellent. Service is always spot on. The atmosphere is warm and completely fills the need of a few old friends getting together to enjoy a Friday Fish Fry ... DELISH! Thanks for always providing a great experience 👍
Outstanding fish fry if you can get in
Ordered the meat lovers skillet and was very happy with the portion sizes. I actually couldn't finish it which is rare, it was delicious and would definitely make this stop again.
My 1st time eating here & Wow! "Hometown" welcome is right! Quaint Throwback to the 60's. Just Great! Had Breakfast...Eggs Benedict fantastic. Extremely friendly & attentive servers...perfect start to my day! 5 out of 5...Just go here!
Don't tell people 40min wait then make t wait an extra 20 min once I get there
Went for a simple breakfast waitress was very slow busy cleaning tables other things other people got their food before us by the time we got our food it was cold when we told them it was cold they didn't like that so they asked us to leave

Worst service in the Northwoods. Waitress was just plain rude.
Had 11 people in our group total, there for breakfast, service was excellent food was delicious,portions were huge great place to eat. So I went back there again after that great 1st experience an had a very rude server food was still delicious
The breakfast was delicious and very filling, large portions. The waitress was terrible, she mumbled the entire time, you could barely hear her, I almost felt like she was scolding me at times. She spoke loud enough for Beau to hear her though, just knowbody else!
