If there’s a line when you come here on a weekend, please wait in it, it’s so worth it! 10/10!! This is a place you’ll miss when you’re home, if you don’t live close by. I had the iced caramel latte and it was truly out of this world. They make their syrups & whip cream and it’s so delicious! I also had a build your own waffle with a side of eggs, bacon and potato’s and it was amazing. The home made honey butter and biscuits are wonderful as is the zucchini bread, biscuits & gravy, feta breakfast sandwich and smoothies. (Things my family ordered while we were there). The ambiance is welcoming and clean and everyone working was so friendly. Beautiful lake view with outdoor and indoor seating with nice natural light. This place is a must and will absolutely be a staple when I come to town.
I love everything about this place From its delicious coffee To its adventurous menu ideas To the biscuits and gravy that remind me of my dads homemade batch To the many things they produce and you can buy Just absolutely love it here
I don’t quite understand the hype. We came early morning for breakfast. The biggest issue for me was that the cappucino was sour. The americano was pleasant tasting, so I’d say don’t order the espresso products. Also, note that this is basically a take out place. Whatever you order, you have to pick up from the bar, no servers. They also ask you to “dish drop” after you’re done eating at the tables. I’m tired of places like that asking for tip when you pay. Staff was not very friendly (maybe because it was too early?). Food was good and the view was beautiful.
RUN, don't walk! This place is amazing!! Staff is amazingly kind, quick. Clean, great atmosphere. The coffee and drinks are delicious as well as the food. !!! GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS !!!
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They make all of their own syrups. Had a honey, cinnamon almond milk latte & a scone. Sat outside and enjoyed them.
I only go to the Dells to get coffee here. It’s well crafted and has a focus to bring God glory by working to build jobs for women at risk in Thailand. They no longer serve pour overs due to the time it takes to make them. I think there gear is gorgeous too.
The coffee here is awesome. My daughters favorite place also. She really like the homemade syrups they make for flavoring your drink. Great staff. Really friendly.
Almost a great coffee shop. Stopped here hoping to find a place to work for a few hours. The location is lovely with big picture window views of the Wisconsin River. Coffee was quite good and the food was fresh, fast, and tasty Unfortunately even though the shop was fairly quiet, empty tables were left uncleaned and covered with crumbs and syrup. The bathrooms were poorly lit and not particularly well cleaned. My biggest issue was that they had no working Wi-Fi and didn’t seem particularly concerned with fixing the issue. With some better management this could really be an excellent coffee shop.
The views of the waterfalls while sitting inside or on the outside deck are well worth a visit. The cappuccino breve was perfect with a creamy texture and served in a glass cup. A few interesting pastries and a menu for other options. Nice ambiance, low noise level that encourages conversation without shouting and an attentive staff. Update 05/08/2023: I have been testing coffee shops in Wisconsin for their ability to make a traditional cappuccino. My first visit to Bella Goose was amazing but the possibility existed that it was just an aberration. My return trip was on a gray, rainy day that needed an uplifting experience. The barista took my order and was knowledgeable and friendly. I waited a short time and was presented with the cappuccino and cinnamon roll in the picture. The cappuccino was perfect. Rich foam, just the right temperature and excellent coffee. The cinnamon roll had obviously been baked that morning and was fresh. Lots of flavor and topped with a swirl of cream cheese frosting. Overall, a wonderful experience on a rainy day. Highly recommended.
Cute cafe with a nice view, great food and very good coffee! Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy and the breakfast wrap, and the cappuccino was fantastic. Friendly service and fair prices.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The only downside is it’s so small and their line is always long. Their lates are amazing and you can buy their organic syrups to take home. We got the iced vanilla bean latte and the hot lavender latte and both of them were amazing. They have great breakfast options as well.
Best place for breakfast in dells! I have not expected to see real baristas here, but I did. Bella Goose offers really good espresso. Staff is nice and polite, food is tasty. Only one thing I would change, it will be nice if there is bigger variety of sandwiches in the menu.
This goose is cooked. An invite to spend the weekend up in Wisconsin to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday meant I had to try some coffee in Wisconsin for the first time since starting this blog. After a long weekend of celebrating said birthday, we needed some caffeine to survive the drive home. As we hit the road, we waited until we hit the highway to figure out where to stop at. That is where we hit our first snag. Wisconsin Dells is one of those touristy towns where each street and each corner is something to do or something to see. The biggest coffee place we saw to try was Bella Goose. Firstly, we saw Bella Goose (On the River) as GPS guided us to the downtown location. We took a wrong turn and circled the building. Parking was packed and we decided to try the other location. We drove back to this location and found a spot in the parking lot next to the building. The full lot should’ve given me a heads up on what we were about to experience but we needed caffeine and weren’t paying attention. As we approached the front door, we could see how backed up the line was. It extended from the counter to the door. We squeaked in and a kind gentleman made room for us so we didn’t have to wait outside. While we stood there, we watched people approach the front door, see the line, and turn around to leave. Maybe we should’ve done the same as the line was slow moving. But, we decided to stick it out since we already waited 10 minutes at that point. Our overall time in line was maybe 25 minutes. I managed to snag a postcard and a sticker while waiting in line and both Emily and I ordered Cold Brews (yes, despite the blustery weather) and a double chocolate chip cookie once we were at the register. For two drinks, a $4 sticker and a $2.50 postcard and the cookie, the total was only $18. I thought that seemed very fair for it being a touristy town. Our drinks were around $5 or $5.50, which is on the upper end of what I think is a good price for a cup of Joe. I think the
Perfect spot for a peaceful meal. The outdoor seating is on the backside of the building which gave us some nice privacy. The food and lattes were excellent. Affordable prices. Glad we stopped.
I ordered an iced caramel latte. It was great! The view of the river is nice and the vibe is clean and modern with merch available like coffee, syrups, and mugs. Definitely will visit again when in the area. ☕
An oasis of authentic food in a sea of barely adequate tourist traps. Highly recommended. Arrive early or expect a wait in line. Great views of river and dam.
Hands down best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! The biscuits are so moist you will not be disappointed in the long line they have! It's well worth the wait!
Great atmospheric place, with a beautiful view on a river and pine forest 🌳 we came in for breakfast, the coffee was so good , and i got one jar of chai tea syrup of their own produce to go. My top place now 😊
Bella Goose was our favorite meal of our Dells trip! All the tables were full the first day we tried, but I'm really glad we went back the next day. Extensive menu for a coffee shop; we enjoyed chocolate covered strawberry waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage and breakfast potatoes. The caramel latte was also delicious! Great views of the river as well. Definitely recommend!
Great spot for coffee and sweet or savory breakfast. When your barista says "let me pull that shot again, I don't like the color" you know you're in the right place.
