We saw this place on our way back to the campground. We decided to stop in for lunch. We ordered the deli sandwiches, and we also ordered a raspberry cheesecake tart. Everything was great. It was definitely worth the stop.
This place is ridiculous. My wife and I had breakfast here and it was OUTSTANDING. I had the Bronco sandwich and was skeptical I would like it. Totally wrong. The flavors and textures were balanced perfectly and the focaccia was incredible - crispy and hot on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside, and not the least bit greasy. A delicious focaccia that's not greasy is a rare thing indeed. My wife had the Myra breakfast sandwich and it was equally delicious. We were skeptical of a breakfast sandwich with no meat, but the mushrooms were cooked perfectly to add a meaty texture. We couldn't decide which was better - the Bronco or the Myra. We came again the next day for breakfast because we were so impressed on day one. We had the Toad in the Hole and were also impressed, even though we frequently make this at home - crispy, airy, tender bread; perfectly cooked egg - it was divine. Could have used a touch more salt, but still excellent. The only thing we didn't like was the rosemary potatoes side dish. Their flavor was great, but they lacked the crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside texture that you really want in a potato - they were pretty much just tender all the way through. Very tender. Kind of textureless. Happily, there are other breakfast sides available like a fruit cup, sausage patties, and bacon, and those are all great. Please eat here. Eat in. Order online and get your food to go. Get a cold sandwich for later. Leave a big tip. This place is a gem and would thrive just as well in NYC as it does in Washburn.
Fantastic food! Flavors blending excellence! A must . Local artist as well on walls.
Wonderful staff. Their lunches are filling and flavorful and usually involve a new way of serving familiar recipes. Their pastries are a little different. They aren't the classic super sweet French desserts. One exception is their "bobka." Not sure what the ethnic history of it is, but it's a weekend favorite at our house. And their coffee is fantastic.
Good food but check your pickup orders as items were forgotten.
Stopped for breakfast on a weekend recently. Hoped to dine in but there was a 40+ minute wait for food so we opted for baked goods to-go. While packed, it was busy for a good reason. Our pastries were excellent. Would return on a less busy day!
This place is so good. I love the No Meato Burrito, and usually get the Thai peanut wrap to go. Lots of tasty baked goods too, including vegan options! Great atmosphere inside, although it’s been pretty busy every time I’ve been here.
Hands down my favorite ace to eat in Washburn. Homemade everything. Nearly impossible to choose from the menu because overthink sounds so great. Excellent bahn mi. Their swedish rye bread is exceptional, too.
Their offerings got knocked down a little bit but they are still the same awesome bakery and pastry shop.
Awful "French"baguette, soft, rubbery, tasteless, like mass produced supermarket variety.A French baguette is supposed to be crusty, like a French croissant is flaky.Baking 101.Probably won't be back.
My dad and I stopped in while visiting Bayfield and wow, we are so pleasantly surprised. The bakery items available for my dad (who is allergic to dairy) was vast, drinks were great and the atmosphere is outstanding! It's artistic and comfortable, cozy and quiet. If Coco's was near me, I would come here multiple times a week to hangout. Thank you Coco's for the best time! We love it here.
Stopped by twice. Once for coffee and a pumpkin bar and once to pick up sandwiches for lunch on the way home. Pretty good in both cases.
Best bakery ever! Lots of bkfst & lunch items. I'm sure there is a line out the door during high season! We had the cinnamon rolls, sesame noodle salad, whitefish chowder with a slice of fresh bread. All delicious! Lots of vegan options too. Wish our trip was longer, so we could have had an excuse to eat there more often!
Great flavors. Fairly fast service. Moderate pricing. Great options for the gluten free (Celiac) vegans we had with us.
The soup we had was so delicious! Really great to have a bakery with gluten free and vegan options.
Awesome! Catered our Family Reunion with Coco Sandwiches. Huge hit! Lots of variety and wonderful breads with quality, locally grown ingredients. 55 happy relatives and NO LEFTOVERS :o) Wonderful experience working with Noreen and her entire staff. So accommodating to all our needs and even packed our coolers the morning of the event. Great coffee and the ginger cookies and blueberry scones were delicious. Cute place, right on main street in Washburn. Wherever you're going, it's on the way and well worth the trip! Support Local!
Love the frittata, coffee and baked goods.
Huge assortment of delicious baked goods. The cinnamon rolls were delectable! A must-stop when in Washburn.
They did my wedding cake and cupcakes, you will not be disappointed. Taste amazing and looked so good, wish I took pictures of them. If your getting something done or just want some sweets try their. Also very helpful and good staff
Had the muffuletta breakfast sandwich and it was really good. Cool looking spot inside and tasty food. All the dinewares were compostable so that was neat.
