I come to Zest basically every time they come out with a new specialty latte board, and the environment is great each visit. One thing I love about Zest is the effort they make to be enviornmentally friendly, you can bring in your own mug/tumbler and they will put your coffee in that instead of a single use cup. Not only are you supporting a local business, but the price is much better than Starbucks or even a cheap alternative such as Dunkin. Being so close to the university, they have excellent deals on day old pastries and even BOGO latte deals during finals week.

Zest is a great coffee shop to grab a unique bite to eat with seasonal/themed coffee, teas, and lattes. They also offer great, fresh bakery items, smoothies, and lemonade. For our wedding this spring, Zest was the first and only bakery we considered. We requested a cake via email and sent great infographics of their menu and what was possible. We chose a chocolate cake with chocolate ganash and white vanilla frosting with a naked texture, leaving the chocolate exposed at parts. I delivered flowers a few days before the wedding to add to the cake and drew up a sketch of what I was thinking for decoration. Brandi added their own flare while being miraculous down to the exact gold leaf detail. The final result was beyond amazing. I love the frozen leftovers even more! Delivery optional. Thank you so much! Donna Miller Photography

Best coffee shop in Wisconsin, in my opinion. Great imaginative baked goods.

This is such a comfy small cafe. Their drinks are amazing whether you're getting one of their signatures or building your own. They have new themed drinks every month and they're always delicious! Not only is their coffee good, but their soups are also excellent. Employees are very kind and service is quick. Even if they're busy and your order takes a bit longer, their seating whether indoor or outdoor is nice and they have an enjoyable atmosphere. The art around and inside the building is pretty cool and adds quite a bit of character to the business.

Great coffee. Friendly staff. They didn't bat an eye even though we came in near closing!

Cool spot! Good food and a nice selection of drinks as well. Not the quietest environment, as the music here is consistently pretty loud but as long as you're not here to study its not a huge issue. I always look forward to the montly lattes as well, as they like to experiment with unique flavors here, which is really cool!! Most of the time the music here is good but the sheer amount of My Chemical Romance that played last time I went... it took me back to 7th grade... So if you want some good coffee and to relive your emo phase, this is the spot for you!

Wow, what nice people! Happened to show up on a day a local credit union was doing some PR and I was lucky enough to get my meal free!! Can't beat that!! Excellent healthy food. I'm going back again Friday.

Always greeted with warm smiles, offering unique homemade fare from wraps to flatbread, unique coffee creations & tea, and some of the most delectable pastry in the area in a comfortable, artsy, eclectic atmosphere. Try the creamy gnocchi soup or a savory breakfast wrap. Zest is a local treasure!

Delicious! I had 2 different kinds of turnover (cherry and apple) and both were amazing! I will definitely be back!

Great food and tasty drinks! Espresso seems a little weak, but I just order an extra shot there and it's cool. I'd give five stars if the espresso was stronger. Favorite place in town for sure though.

I liked it but it was loud. Near yelling at the person across the table just to have a conversation. This might just be a reflection on the patrons, and not the establishment.

Zest is staffed by energetic, kind baristas, and cooks. They have delicious baked goods, including some for gluten sensitive folks- I wouldn't say celiac safe. They have fun latte themes that rotate. Currently they have a latte that supports a woman's right to choose. They do not have decaf coffee, but they have a great selection of teas. The lunch menu has something for vegetarians, omnivores, and the food curious folks. You can go to the walk up window or grab a table or couch inside. Support your local coffee shop and your sweet tooth!

Iced latte was a real latte, not a cup filled with ice and a tiny bit of coffee. The Blueberry Scone was fresh and delicious

I have ordered their decorated cookies twice now. With very little direction (no picture and not knowing exactly what I wanted) they produced amazing results! Beautiful and delicious! I highly recommend them! The only downside is they fill up quickly so be sure and get your order in soon!

I love this cafe/bakery, but lately it has been going down hill, they cut back on the naan bread. I use to get a half of a whole naan bread when it was served with the soup. Today I got a pennys worth of naan bread. It was the smallest sliver of bread!!! My soup was also poured terribly, I had 2 piece of tomato in the whole soup, NO CHICKEN, not a single piece of chicken was in the Indian butter chicken soup

The coffee is not too bad. But the bakery is the best. The strudel and the danishes are heavenly.
