I’ve always wanted to visit this coffee and art shop. This morning I stopped in and was blown away. As a crafty and design oriented person, I found a home away from home here. The owner personally showed me her shop and even sat down with me and talked about life and our art! The latte was wonderful and macaroons were tasty. I highly recommend stopping in and checking out all the local art and fair trade artwork! Also, I plan to take a class or two provided by local artisans as well. I can’t wait to stop back in and enjoy another latte and any new art for sale!

Wish I could give 6 stars for the atmosphere especially. Tracy is a coffee queen and true asset to the Racine business community. She works hard and is an amazing woman. I've been coming to Gypsy Java almost daily for over a year, and cannot recommend it enough. Great place and great people, very worth checking out.

Very friendly atmosphere, good selection. In addition to the Gypsy Java is the craft gallery with everything from jewelry, paintings, knit and crochet items plus much more. Browsing encouraged.

Gypsy Java is inside Nothwinds Gallery on Main Street. They have a great selection of coffees and a variety of options for iced coffee drinks as well. Pastries are also available and very good. They offer a nice seating area that includes larger and smaller tables, plus a seating areas with comfortable chairs and a coffee table. Sometimes people reserve one of the larger tables for a bigger group. Because it's in the gallery, there is plenty of art to browse while there. It's a unique variety too, you can also see the special theme art and vote on your favorites. And there are classes offered. Great relaxing environment!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I went there for the first time and had chai and a muffin. The seating is cool and comfy feeling, and all of the beautiful art you're looking at is for sale! Dozens of local artists are here. Have you ever seen embroidered toilet paper!?!? Go there.

My husband and I love to visit local coffee shops when traveling and we’re so glad we found the Gypsy Java! Great coffee selection and tons of different flavors to choose from. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly. We picked up some local art for gifts before heading out. We’ll back the next time we’re in Wisconsin!

they have coffee and a very good selection of tea within a shop containing an eclectic mix of hand made items from dozens of artists. The store is packed with hand painted art, small decor, clothes, jewelry and more. Shoppers delight! The owner said they do classes and sometimes people come to just chat, drink tea and craft around a long wooden table.
