Came in for some cookies, nobody at the counter, waited a few minutes, rang the bell, waited a couple more, rang the bell, waited a bit more, then walked out.

Went down Saturday for our weekly maple, bacon donuts. They were very, very stale. Horrible. Week old at best. Never going back.

Nice small, bakery. Good selection of a small amount of high quality, specialty items. The cookies are to die for.

Goggled bakery for Prairie du Chien and discovered this little gem. Nice little gift shop in addition to the bakery. The owner was kind and friendly. The bakery was delicious and I also found a housewarming gift for my niece. Highly recommend!!!

Stopped on a whim to get our softball team some donuts. They didn't have the type I was hoping for, so they came up with some options and made up 2 dozen in less than 20 minutes. Great service and the donuts were even better! Highly recommend!!

Great little "brick n mortar" place. You can enjoy pastries, and desserts, coffee and a nice selection of teas. Very unique gift shopping area, to look over as well.

I love to search for and shop at local bakeries whenever I take a road trip. Coming across Local Oven while spending a day driving around Prairie du Chien was a treat on a recent summer Saturday. Enjoyed a couple Bismarcks, a maple bacon frosted donut, and assorted cookies that almost didn't make it home because they were so delish. Very cute gift shop adjacent to the bakery was fun to walk around and find some unique Wisconsin memorabilia. Not too much else on this quaint downtown Main Street, but Local Oven was well worth visiting.

Wonderful gem of a place in downtown. Where else can you eat an eclair, buy blueberry honey, share an ice cream cone, and buy kitchen utensils all at the same time? Nowhere else. Worth a stop.
