Great food good people!
Would not recommend. Waited for forever for drink refills. The omelet was overcooked (but at least edible), but my american fries were way under. My husband enjoyed his breakfast, but did mention that the hollandaise was off. I'm glad we checked it out, as it is a cute little dive restaurant with some cute decor, but the food, service, and cleanliness all need a lot of tlc. The one saving grace is that the coffee was fresh!
Sat down and every one in the restaurant had food ordered 3 eggs scrambled sausage links crispy bacon and my wife ordered a veggie omelet with no mushrooms and corn beef hash. As soon as our order went to the kitchen we could hear the cook complaining about something mind you I believe she is the owner. Several minutes later 2 regulars came in ordered food then another regular came in ordered food. As we are waiting for our food the regulars got their food first. Shouldn't you cater to people who don't come in all the time or do you not want their business? I'm done with this place food is mediocre at best. The server's have always been great. Needless to say we walked out.
I LOVE this cafe. The food is phenomenal and they are pretty quick to get your food made. If you’re local or visiting, definitely recommend stopping here or getting take out. Their homemade jam that comes with your toast is out of this world!! They only take cash I believe, but definitely worth it!!
The food at this café is very good. The food takes long to arrive, but it’s worth the wait. Highly recommend coming to this place. It is very welcoming.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing place.
Nice small town atmosphere, good service, and great food! Two thumbs up!
Awesome, home-cooked lunch and dessert. Generous portions, perfectly cooked. Small place and obviously popular with locals! We had hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy, codfish and veggies, and chicken & dumpling soup. Yummy pumpkin bar for dessert. All were delicious!
The portion of goulash for $8.50 was Kid sized. The large chocolate milk was very small for $2.75. My beef vegetable soup was extremely oily for $4.50 a bowl. The potato soup was mediocre for $4.50 a bowl. The lunch special ham and cheese croissant had very little meat on it for $8.50 which included fries. The goulash was not served with a side. I had to sit there for 15 minutes after concluding my meal to receive a bill. Our waitress did a good job and was friendly. overall my bill was $32.50 for two people and I left the waitress a $6 tip.
Love the hamburgers with curly fries ! Well worth the wait and 1" thick ! I Recommend the bacon Cheeseburger !!
Always friendly and always great food
Nice Lil home town restaurant and great food and the homemade strawberry jam is great .
Quaint little cafe done the old style way. You won't be disappointed if you go. I highly recommend this cafe.
We stop in to eat everytime we are passing through town. The food is good. Friendly staff. They have a counter you can eat at. If you order breakfast make sure to get toast. The jelly is homemade and it is one of the best I have ever had.
We came at 1030 on a Saturday morning. Granted, they were busy, but we sat in back room, waited 20 minutes and no waitress. They allowed a woman to move a chair and block the doorway. This is a health and safety issue, as doorway is only egress from room. Have been there before, doubt we will ever be back.
Great food & great prices. Everyone there was extremely friendly! Can't wait to return.
pancakes were hard and tasted like bread.small portions of hashbrowns. ordered stuffed french toast and it was soggy and the strawberries tasted sour.constantly kept asking for things. i will not be coming back again
Quick service. Great food. Small Town feel. Bring cash.
