Small towns like Mount Horeb, Wisconsin make a whole lot more sense when they also provide charming, independent cafes that have espresso drinks and amazing food. Don't go to the small towns that don't have this.
Everything is SO good!!! My favorite Latte is a brown sugar with oat milk and their lemon bar is heaven!! Today I tried a wrap and their taco chili and it was amazing!!! The food is delicious and the people are so kind! This is my favorite place to go in Mount Horeb!
One of my favorite places to be. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the energy is infectious. Starting the day with one of their breakfast sandwiches and a cup of coffee, will put you in a great mood. Or, stop in a bit later for one of their delicious sandwiches for a chill break in your day. You can't go wrong at Sunn Cafe.
Food is reliably excellent and staff are super friendly.

I work a block away and Sunn Cafe has fed me breakfast or lunch so many times I am embarrassed to say🙂. Everything I have ever had has been wonderful and I always get a warm welcome coming in the door to pick up my nicely packed, labeled, bag of yumminess! They have a lot of gluten free options for my friends and family members who need it with no loss of taste or quality. Vegetarian and vegan options abound too. Mt Horeb is lucky to have this place!
Great place to eat! If you do a to go order, they will even label the name of each person's order!

Not afraid to try new things for their lunch specials. Better still, they're always a home-run. Locally-sourced ingredients. And, whomever picks the tunes deserves a pat on the back.

We picked up sandwiches for our pre wedding day meal. They were phenomenal. I received a lot of compliments on the quality especially the Cali Sandwich.
I love the food, the staff and the atmosphere. I keep coming back to try new items on the menu and love everything and the happy staff!
Make this a required stop in Mt Horeb — especially if you are biking the Military Ridge Trail. It’s a block off the trail and the sandwiches are unique and healthy fuel. The bakery selections are so good — and some extra sugar for your bike ride We sat inside to cool off but they have a lovely outdoor seating area as well. Great service and awesome staff.
Stopped in today for a BLT and an iced coffee. Fantastic! There's lots of shaded outdoor seating (and plenty indoors too), the staff are friendly, and the food and drink were seriously so delicious. Also, dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables. I definitely recommend making a visit if you find yourself in Mt. Horeb!
Had the egg salad sandwich. Good menu. Nice nice people. Picnic tables with umbrellas outside. Sunn Alley with tables and canvas top “roof”.
Sunn cafe has the most amazing staff and food in Mount Horeb. The food is always healthy, fun, unique, original and of course FRESH! Inside, you are always greated with wonderfully kind and helpful staff who are eager to help explain the ever changing and delicious specials. They serve a wide variety of drinks including everything from local soda to kombucha and also a highly versed beer and wine menu. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere with amazing food and drink, this is the spot!
