Their Chi is always on point, their baked good, especially pastries are phenomenal. I really enjoyed the creps. The staff is always friendly and considerate. All in all a great experience.
The lack of greeting when you walk in is very unwelcoming. The food was really lacking in seasoning and the coffee was so weak, it looked more like tea. Super disappointing :(

We held the January meeting for the Green County Garden Club at Java Lava. With over 15 members attending. We ordered coffees , soups, and salads, and everything was excellent. We'll be back!
A multiple weekly experience for me! Coffee. Saturday breakfasts. SUNDAY Special breakfasts. I can keep it Keto, my husband can get a rounded breakfast, our adult son can get his freshly baked sweet rolls high.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and lunch items are available as well as fresh baked items and beverages. I have carried out lunch more frequently than any other and have not been disappointed in the food.
I've ordered a mocha a few times I've been there to give it another chance. I've even questioned that they put the chocolate syrup in to make it the mocha I was ordering. It only tastes like slightly warm slightly warm chocolate milk every time. I've even purchased additional shots to make it have some flavor. Love the shop itself though And have purchased something the last 2 times I've been there. The big goods were pretty good but our breakfast burritos left us both nauseous but we also don't do well on processed food. That was a while ago and I haven't ordered anything since so it might have changed. I've tried the caramel machiato there as well and there was hardly any flavor.

I am wondering why I received chopped chicken on a bun when I ordered a grilled chicken on panini (menu item, not special order)? It was tasty but not what I ordered. I would have given 5 stars but I wasn't informed of the substitutes & since this was a carry out, I did find this out until down the road. I may have changed my mind when ordering. ** Please, no need to refund. I enjoyed what I had, I just would have liked to have been informed of the substitutes and possibly change my order. Thank you for offering that.

Was an amazing cup of coffee. Can get breakfast here. Staff is friendly and courtesy. Cool home decor and gift ideas on the second floor.
Third Saturday of the month a Blue Grass group comes and plays. Coffee is amazing and so are the staff and owner. A good assortment of food and coffee. Great place and better than any coffee place I have ever been to.
We were a big group (~10) and they did an admirable job of filling orders and keeping us informed. The food was very good, as was the coffee. We'll be back!+
