Best doughnut I ever had. Super soft and chewy at the same time, similar to a mochi doughnut! Can't wait to try their other flavors.
So disappointed to be writing this review. We have had Supernova 5+ times and we have been continually dissatisfied. The donuts are AMAZING. The coffee was alright until our recent visit where they didn’t mix in the add-ins, creating an unnecessary hassle for us. The biggest drawback, however, is the service. Since their opening we have been met with nothing but rudeness. We were so excited to have a coffee shop in our building and have yet to be met with basic kindness when visiting. We have given supernova many “one more” tries and we are sadly done trying.
Cute space, the three doughnuts we tried were all delicious, and they have cool speciality lattes.

OMG. The pistachio donut was out of this world (3.95). I saw it in the case but they gave me a warm one! It is the best donut I ever had. Coffee (2.50) was also above my expectations. The staff where nice with fast service The only reason I gave 4 stars is the location and access to parking.
OMGosh! 2nd Best donuts in the US. I spend 15 days a month traveling the US. I stop at local donut shops whenever I can. The OG (original raised glazed) was light and fluffy with the perfect glaze. The Old Fashion, a cake stile donut, was cooked to a perfect light crisp. The Blueberry Fritter tasted great. My only criticism is their consistency. The dough used to make the donuts taste great but from donut to donut they were to similar. The OG could be a little fluffier while they Fritter needs to be more dense.
Supernova has some of the best donuts I've ever tried. We tried the matcha, strawberry sprinkled, and blueberry fritter and they were all amazing- not too sweet, and light & fluffy.
We love this spot. First time I've ever tried a potato donut. I was shocked bc it was way better than I expected. Their flavors are spot on. My husband loves their coffee drinks. The staff is always soooo friendly. I love their logo and their set up. It's super cute! My favorite is definitely the donut holes! They are just so perfect & a great little snack! I wish I had more photos but I probably eat them too quickly, so I forget to snap a shot! I also want to add that I appreciate their hours! So many donut places will close earlier. Nice to know I can still get a tasty donut even if it's after work. Check them out! They are located inside 3rd Street Market Hall.
Love their coffee! Only suggestions: get more sugar free options and soy milk please. 😁
So many various flavors for both doughnuts and coffee; it was hard to choose! Luckily, we had a big enough group that we all got to try each other’s. Every flavor was delicious! Not only was Supernova a great first stop with delicious treats but while you enjoy the cup of Jo and doughnuts, the vendor court also offers an entertaining and relaxing visit. A great spot for this business, I can’t wait to visit Aaron and Sara’s other shop at Avenue Coffeehouse!
Good donuts but quiet expensive. Was going to give a higher rating, but we ordered a dozen and they only gave us 11 donuts. With over 4$ a donut that was quite disappointing The coffee was okay

These doughnuts are out of this world! We had the espresso doughnut, lemon poppy and strawberry sprinkle doughnuts with a cup of Anodyne coffee. Every doughnut we had was light and airy and full of flavor. The strawberry sprinkle was especially flavorful and probably our favorite - tasted like something Homer Simpson would approve of! Definitely check this place out, you won’t regret it!
Super Nova is an outstanding and unique Coffee/Doughnut shop located in Downtown Milwaukee. Doughnuts are fresh, unique and made from original recipes. Their bakery is baked on site! Doughnuts are succulent, coffee is great and you will experience friendly customer service. Just had their fritters! OMG to die for!!!
This doughnut spot is right inside the entrance located where the end of M.L.K. hits Wisconsin (main entrance). Not exactly where google shows. Chill spot. Doughnuts & specialty coffee drinks. Very cool staff. Let us try their favorite potato yeasted doughnut for free- outstanding! Texture like a mochi doughnut. Pillowy yet a bit of chew. Hands down, what we are getting next time. Both the un-glazed doughnut holes and the churro option were winners. We had ordered a sprinkle yeasted and an old fashioned one to go and ended up snacking on them much later because the potato ones were so satisfying. Latte was fine. Doughnuts and service are 5 stars.
These donuts are excellent. Only a handful of different types available, but all of the ones we ate were superb. Didn't taste like a sugar bomb like others and wasn't too strange with their donuts like other "trendy" places. Coffee is local Anodyne and also very good, and they have several specialty coffee drinks on their menu
Great place! The matcha donut is ridiculously good. Definitely worth giving a try!
