The service was poor it seemed like the person was in a hurry. There was no one behind it was not busy the cake we got was very blah and tasteless. Only thing that was good thank God!!

They have a small seating area outside (not on KK but the side street). They will bring your beverage out to you there, by which I was pleasantly surprised. There are both picnic tables and plastic chairs at wooden tables. Got here at dusk and be forewarned - there is a pretty big spider with her home in the brick wall where the seating area is. She came out after dark and I screamed when told there was a spider behind my head (yes, I have arachnaphobia). Everyone around me turned to look and we all had a little giggle and spider discussion, so nice clientele as well!
I love Anodyne coffee. We have heard the pizza here is really good, however, they have such limited hours on the pizza it’s difficult to ever get to try it. If you only serve it 4 hours Monday- Friday, there’s not even a point to it.
I love everything about Anodyne. I've been going there since 2009 and love their pizza and drinks. I highly recommend visiting them if you haven't already done so.
This is such a great coffee shop, I always enjoy my drink especially a lavender latte. I did get one of their mystic latte speciality drinks though and wasn’t a huge fan. I’m not sure if it was the licorice root or something else but it left a very weird taste in my mouth. It almost tasted like a smoky steak sauce. I wouldn’t suggest getting that drink but definitely suggest trying this coffee shop out!

This is my favorite coffeeshop in Milwaukee! Their pizza is amazing and their coffee menu is not overwhelming. The Beesting could win awards imo. The atmosphere is cozy without feeling suffocating. Their basic black coffee is always great as well, I don't get the burnt notes that St*rbucks has or the weird notes that C*lectivo has (lol). Highly recommend!
Very fun atmosphere. A lot of selection of beverages. Pizza sounded like fun choices but wasn't hungry at the time. Coffee drinks were delicious. Service was great. I would recommend to anyone and i will be back.
Was curious about the pizza and coffee concept, and was pleasantly surprised. Hand stretched, wood-fired pizza with unique, fine ingredients, and service with a smile. We truly enjoyed our evening there.
If you love pizza, they have authentic pizza oven. How exciting is that!

This is by far my favorite location! The staff are always nice and seem to remember you and your order even if you haven’t been there in a while. The ambience is cozy and warm. The pizza oven and the decor make for a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their Peru blend is amazing, and at $15 was a great deal for a local blend. Unfortunately they’ve recently changed their bags and there’s less coffee in them for $19. I hope they return to the old style bag, I wouldn’t even be upset about paying $19-$20 a bag with the larger bag.
CUTE little coffee shop. We were too early for the pizza oven to be fired up, but would love to come back for lunch/dinner!
