It's exactly the kind of small town diner that I love. No fuss, simple food made well. We had a party of 7 that each ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food.
I've gone past this place numerous times but never been there until this morning. Food was great, and for being a small town place cafe, you don't feel rushed at all.

I noticed this place as I was driving through Merrimac. "Cozy" is a word that defines this place. The whole operation is effectively run by one woman. The food was good and I had a little bit of everything. There were not many other patrons when I dined here, so service may have been faster than usual. The prices were very reasonable. I will be sure to return.
Friday fish fry was delicious. Candy is the only cook, the only waitress and the only busser. Worth the wait.

This is a slice of Americana. The owner is pleasant and runs a one-gal show. Not fast food, real atmosphere. Worth experiencing.
