No flavor , poor service . Left before we got our food , wasn't gonna waste another penny on the place. Surprised the place is still open to be honest.

This is where the locals go. It is very laid back, good food and very enjoyable and friendly service. I had the potato pancakes with Wisconsin maple syrup. Nothing fancy, just good.

Love the small town diner atmosphere. Burgers were very good. I recommend the beer fries.

Breakfast was disgusting. The potato pancakes would have been good if they hadn’t piled a big slab of MARGARINE on them. Margarine also ruined the English muffins and slimy fried potatoes. Ruled this place out for future meals.

Lots of room for improvement on the quality of the food, and the service. Walked away disappointed with the experience, but will try again to see if the results are different.

Our party of 4 was the second in the door, we were there waiting for them to open. Got our drinks (3 coffee and 1 orange juice) ordered our food and waited an hour and 15 minutes without being served food. The waitress poured 2 more rounds of coffee, but other than that, completely ignored us. Tables were being served, they finished, left, another table was sat, served and were eating. That happened to two different tables while we waited. We finally had enough, I dropped $5 on the table and we left. I contacted them via messenger on Facebook only to get the excuse that they "cook to order" and there's a sign saying that. I did reply that is why we were patient and willing to wait, but am got and 15 minutes without even telling us anything about our order is ridiculous. I'll never go back, the other place was much nicer atmosphere, quicker, with friendlier service EDIT TO ADD; I see the owner has answered me, but not apologized, just made excuses. Nothing wrong was said to any waitress of any age. Just that we waited FAR TOO LONG! We didn't want fast food, we wanted home cooked, good food. An hour and 15 minutes is far too long for any restaurant. We were there waiting for you to open, and left at 9:15, that is exactly ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES. You can lie and try to make me look bad all you want, the truth is the truth. You not owning it is a huge problem. Fortunately I won't have to deal with this establishment again

Susie Kay's is an interesting delicious experience every time. Got the PB&J bacon burger. This is not my new favorite but it was amazing and weird in a good way. I'm so glad I tried it. Service was friendly and quick. Fries were super fresh crispy awesomeness. Twinkie explosion desert was the bomb.

My husband and I had burgers today at Susie Kay's Cafe in Manitowoc Wisconsin! He had the Regular hamburger (it is huge) with his choice of condiments of ketchup and onions. I had the avocado slider with my choice of condiments in-which I added was Mayo, mustard, cheese, fresh and grilled onions, and jalapeño peppers. Let me just say, my slider was bigger than a lot of folks regular burgers! The prices were very reasonable for what we got. So, if you guys are in the Manitowoc, Wisconsin area and are looking for something good to eat, come check out Pat (The very nice older lady that’s the waitress ) and Susie (the very nice owner lady) as we can assure you that you will leave with a very full but happy tummy!

Nothing special, not sure why the high star rating. Breakfast took 50 minutes when the place wasn’t too busy. The hash browns dish is a mess, might as well eat out of a trough.

OMG, the food is heavenly. Breakfast is a must. The potato pancakes are spot on. The Carlito burrito/wrap is delish. Thick bacon. All made fresh and served warm so it takes a little longer.

I rarely give 5 stars, I had the noff burger. It was excellent! This place makes a burger how it should be done. Keep up the good cooking!! I'll definitely be back.
