It was awesome and Memorial weekend was busy most on Sunday. Love Cinnamon rolls glazed taste so good.
Great food, coffee, and views... The only issue was limited parking. We parked in the gas station lot and walked across. The breakfast casserole was really good.
Beautifully maintained place with a view. Very nice staff. Much effort in that. The bakery is good. Other food items are serviceable. No owner effort in educating the staff at making quality espresso drinks. The staff deserve to have a pro in for training or send someone out for it regularly. Go to Dixie's for the ambiance, not the quality.
Excellent coffee and superb views.
First time was just fine! 👍🔥😊
Love every season at Dixie's!
Fast service and good coffee!
Super cozy coffee shop! Nice cabin style decor with an amazing view of the lake. The staff was extremely nice. Artwork is really nice - gives the whole place a real cabin vibe. They even have oat milk! Couldn't ask for anything more.
Nice and quiet place with great views. Pumpkin latte and breakfast burrito were delicious!
Great food and coffee! Also has a beautiful view and nice ambiance inside the cafe. Highly recommend!
Best views in Manitowish Waters and great coffee to boot! Outstanding service from Mollie and the gang. Thanks for a great Sunday coffee break!
Great place!
No parking, good coffee, great atmosphere
Amazing Coffee, friendly service, and an impressive atmosphere. A great choice!!
Had high hopes for this very cute coffee shop but was royally disappointed. My oatmeal was instant that was from a pre packaged cup, not homemade (served in its pre packed cup too). The breakfast burrito was also definitely not home made, just a pre-made one that they threw on a panini press to make it seem more authentic. The cappuccino was over half foam… would not go again.
Whole we experience was ruined by super rude staff. From what I was able to gather this is supposed to be a pet friendly place. It is not. Oops all the advertising would suggest it would be and it doesn't explicitly say it isn't. Perhaps update the tourism board. I brought my very well behaved dog into the establishment and the staff's reaction was just uncalled for. Simply left and that was that. You can have the best of everything but if service is terrible there's no reason to visit the establishment. Sad bc the coffee was good.
We were in the area, and decided to stop in and get some coffees to go. Lovely, picturesque coffeehouse. The coffee house itself, is its own building, on a beautiful lakefront lot. It was very quiet outside and relaxing. They're about ten parking spots right next to the coffeehouse, otherwise there are additional spots across the street. Dixie's has indoor seating, outdoor seating on the deck, and sitting down by the dock overlooking the water. Each area is very clean, and had its own ambience. We stopped early morning, and the views were spectacular on a sunny late spring day. I could easily see you bringing a book here or friends to sit and chat for a while either outside or down by the dock. Besides coffee, which I got an iced white chocolate mocha (delicious), they had a variety of teas and smoothies. They also listed a variety of bakery items, as well as some meal options, but we didn't look into that too much. The employees were really welcoming and professional. Even though there were several families and people present, we got our drinks very quickly before exploring the grounds. This would be a place I would come back again in the future, hopefully to spend more time here to enjoy their different drinks.
Love staff and a peaceful way to bring in the day. I recommend going early and enjoying the beautiful view.
We always rated this coffee house a 5* till they changed their bakery source. Now it appears to us that there are day old pastries served till fresh pastries are picked up mid to later morning. The service and ambiance are great. Hoping for improvement, quality and timely availability of the bakery.
So, I visited here for the first time. It is very charming inside and such a lovely area. I purchased three iced coffees and three filled donuts at a charge of $28! We left as we were headed back home to Waukesha Wi and as we started eating the donuts we were very disappointed to find very little filling in each one. They were also very dry. Very disappointing coming from such a lovely looking place. Pretty sure I won't be returning. Thanks Lisa
