Good prices and food. Lots more space inside than it looks on the outside!
Great atmosphere and great food. We had a great Easter brunch.
I had a great experience at Javavino. I went there a few times. The food is always fantastic and the staff is really friendly.
Went in here the night before the LaCrosse Half Marathon, hoping to carb up on the Pesto Bruschetta Linguini. Unfortunately, by the time we got there for our 7:00 reservation, they were all sold out. Instead, us runners opted for the Mac and Cheese. I ordered mine "hot" (spicy) with Sriracha and Jalapeños and added pulled pork. While the dish was tasty, I didn't find it at all spicy. However, I do recognize that I can tolerate a fair degree of heat, so for me, adding a few more Jalapeños would have been great. My sister-in-law requested bacon on hers, and there was a lot of flavorful bacon added, which stayed nice and crispy. The Wisconsin Grazing Board was a nice, shareable size for the table with a great assortment of flavors. This is a cute spot, with lots of room, perfect for families and larger sized parties. Our waitress was great, being very attentive and patient. Definitely a place worth a return.
I will go as far as saying that this breakfast may have been the BEST breakfast I ever had. I DON'T do reviews often but could not let this one pass. I had the 'Kitchen Sink', which had just about everything including a delicious spinach artichoke dip. The server was friendly, attentive & helpful. The meal came quickly despite being somewhat crowded. VERY cool decor & vibe. Visiting from out of town, but will DEFINITELY put this place on my "go to" list whenever I'm in town. Great job, JavaVino!!
The acoustics are pretty loud. If you wear hearing aids it uncomfortable. Everyone is cheerful and friendly. You can take your time to stay as long as you want.
Delicious food in a great atmosphere!
Always do enjoy their food but I will always try to finish my mac because it is definitely not a good one that's leftover.
Great! This place was packed on a Sunday, but our waitress was quick and attentive. Food and drinks were delcious.
A great restaurant for any meal of the day, we especially love their happy hour and their bruchetta!
Good selection of food choices on the menu, very nice relaxing aesthetic inside, everything was very clean, nice variety of seating choices (bar area, low restaurant style tables, high tables, comfy leather lounge chairs with tables), and a friendly wait staff. Can get a bit pricey (looked up the rosé we ordered for $30, $12 in stores) but hey that's expected dining out. Definitely worth the occasional relaxing wine and hummus night out.
Great food and drinks and great atmosphere. If you have small children, this is the place for you! They have a kid zone play area so you can enjoy a meal while your kids are entertained as well.
Delicious drinks and breakfast. Fun Chalk drawings on the walls.
Neat atmosphere considering the area of town. Good food, but the menu caters heavily to trendy stuff which probably steers a lot of people away. Employees were a bit slow and clueless, gone for 30 minutes without checking in, forgetting things, etc. Had to go get our own bill, went to the front to order coffee after our meal because our server disappeared multiple times. But I also don't think that's the standard here, might have just been the few girls that were on staff that day.
Java vino is amazing! We use their take out service on the app for breakfast and coffee and it works out quite nicely
Had a delicious feisty Burger with feta spread. It's a nice place with friendly staff.
Great food & wait staff, clean a fun place to eat
I am not one to leave negative reviews, but myself and the rest of my party had what we felt was a very careless experience here. Let me start by saying the chai I had was delicious. Beyond that, I have to say this experience left everything else to be desired. I completely understand the staff is only operating based on the larger restaurant culture and rules, so I want to be clear that I don’t hold any individual responsible for my experience. As a vegan living in La Crosse WI, I deeply understand that I’m going to have to make adjustments to most everything I order when I go out to eat. What I don’t understand is why I was told a max of 2 adjustments were allowed. I've literally never been told this. In the service industry I personally find it an interesting choice to capsize special requests. I noticed the menu also kindly requested no substitutions. Okay…but then at least have 1 option that exists as is for a vegan. After thoroughly examining the menu, it looked to me as if everything needed at least one modification to make it dairy free. In this way, myself and my party of 2 others who don’t eat animal products left feeling like our requests to create something we would enjoy were taken to be a nuisance, which right off the bat makes it near impossible to have a positive experience. If there's truly nothing immediately obvious that I can order from the menu, at the very least I’d like to feel that my own attempts to amend existing items be both allowed and encouraged. Again, I’m not one to leave a negative review, but the whole experience was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. To feel like an inconvenience, be served a sloppy meal, and leave with a $59 bill I feel warrants some degree of frustration. I really want to like it here because I feel there's real potential to be vegan friendly in a city that largely isn't... but as long as the options stay so limited and the attitude toward modifications remain as they are, I definitely cannot consider J
Wonderful atmosphere. Exceptionally friendly staff. Great food. Great coffee and tea!
Great place with good food and service, nice selection of beer and wine, plus coffee and teas, we had the spinach artichoke dip, during happy hour apps are 1/2 off!!
