The food is good, the service was honestly terrible this day. I don't think that defines a restaurant by one visit so I wouldn't let that defer you from the place. They have a nice view over some water. It's a nice open area. I love love love their stuffed french toast. I honestly always get breakfast items tho so I'm not sure about their lunch. I like the skillets.
Best food friendly staff will go again 10 out of 10 fyi best view of ducks.
Good food and service, great view of the wildlife as well!
Used to come here quite often a few years ago. Same menu, but food is different.
i ordered the fishermans trio wich is fried fish 1 piece of boiled fish & shrimp.when i got my food it was missing the shrimp i asked where the shrimp was and they told me they do not give out the shrimp on the weekend! sounds like i orderd the dues instead of the trio witch is what my food tasted like! they have really went down hill !
Not the nice cafe style I was thinking of. It's more of a Perkins by the water. Orange juice was best thing we had.
I used to love Julie's cafe. My last three visits have been horrible. I see no reason to return. There are some people working at Julie's, who clearly do not like people. I did try Julie's again, since family members wanted to go. Once again was very disappointed, I got about 6 oz of food for a meal. I am not kidding about that. The amount of money they charged us for such a small amount of food was ridiculous. I could have made that much food for all of us, for what they charged for one of our plates. I almost forgot to add, that we did not get what was described on the menu. If that isn't deceptive I don't know what is.
Granted. I am nostalgic for the days of John Neroes… Nonetheless, the restaurant entrance was dark and dirty. When seated, the floor was disgusting, not only needing deep cleaning, but obviously not swept or vacuumed for quite a while. We left. On our way out, I snuck a peek of the kitchen… We chose well… To leave.
Don't waste your time it has went down hill from what it use two
Nice, good food. Not too busy.
The place was awesome and loved the view. But the portions were horrible for how much you paid. And the food had no flavor. My wife got the mushroom and swiss, and it was smaller than a small burger from McDonald's. Not happy about the price or portion. The rest of it was good. Staff was friendly too. Food not so much
We walked in, were seated right away and provided our drinks and then left to sit and wait 20-25 minutes without our order being taken or anyone stopping to say they are behind or acknowledging us at all. All while multiple waitresses and busses walked by, look at us and then never came to our table. Then when we went to leave and pay for our drinks only, dissatisfied by the lack of service we walked past the kitchen door to find 4 waitresses lean against the counters drinking their sodas. Then to too it off the manager comes out with the wait staff to see why we were leaving and would not speak to us, but instead sentca waitress to tell us the drinks were free.
Great place, food was fantastic as was the service. Food came out super fast! Watching the white swan and ducks on the pond was a great bonus too.
Cool location on the water. Server was very attentive and prompt and the portion sizes were great. Will be returning
Great food awesome service, & fun gaming machines, will make this a weekend brunch location destination
Had a great first date here. Nice it's a water view. Food was what you expect at a home town cafe, clean place to eat. Staff friendly.
Good breakfast. Food comes quick. Staff is friendly. Building is dated.
Had the Best Eggs Benedict and hashbrowns ever!! The view was great, sat at the window watching the ducks and the swan. I will definitely be back when I can. 🥰
Carpet in a restaurant is not good. Dirty. Food was worse than a cafeteria in a hospital. Nice view of river though
Very nice resteraunt to have a great meal.
