So great to find a decent latte! Visited their other location in Madison and this was just as pleasant. It was the place to be in town when we visited, and had a nice cozy atmosphere. Wonderstate offer one of the best coffees in WI.

What a lovely find. I am a bagel and lox freaky fan and theirs - incredible! The lox are buttery with a light salt and almost like a hint of smoke. The bagel has a perfect crust and tooth sinking chew. My Swedish DNA was quite pleased.
My bf and I decided to spend our anniversary in Bayfield this year and were overjoyed when we got to start our day at this gem of a coffee shop. Warm welcomes, quality drinks, and a cute atmosphere had us falling in love with Wonderstate instantly! We cannot wait to come back and purchase some coffee beans or a cute shirt next time we come through.
I drink a lot of coffee, and the PSL I had at Wonderstate was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. Purely exceptional.
Quaint little coffeehouse in Bayfield, WI. We stopped in for breakfast/coffee. Got a breakfast sandwich and a drink. Brought the dog inside too which was nice. Fast and friendly service.
The atmosphere is lovely and the baristas were kind. The salted caramel latte was on point but the dirty chai wasn't quite worth the calories.
It was absolutely amazing! I had the maple latte which is made with homemade maple which I absolutely appreciated. Because most of the time you’re going places and they’re putting just this syrup in that’s artificial but this is homegrown handmade maple syrup in their latte which I’ve never had which was literally to die for and let me tell you about their lox I’ve had in many places of the country and this is far the best lox I have ever had in my entire life! And normally you find it at a really good Jewish deli in the lox is super salty and you can’t really appreciate it but it was just enough salt where it wasn’t overpowering hands-down must have their lox !

Great coffee restrooms pastry outdoor seating wifi. My wife said she had the best Latte ever today 8/30/2022 Bathroom has beautiful tile floor. Ideal spot to people watch from inside or outside on the bench/tables.

This was my go to coffee joint for my trip to Bayfield, WI. Good coffee. The kitchen was backed up but I wasn't eating. Cute and clean interior. Friendly service.
I'd rate this place higher but in the several times I've been here, because it's the only coffee shop in Bayfield now, the line is long and moves slow. Once you finally order, the wait for getting your order is long. It's like how it would be if the DMV was a coffee shop. I was in the store yesterday for just under half an hour and hadn't gotten the egg sandwich I ordered, asked for my money back, and someone said "it's coming out right now" and a few minutes later, about the time it takes to make an egg sandwich, it was done. There are too many fun things to do in Bayfield besides wait in lines. Wonderstate, please up your game.
Expect to wait 20-30 min for one coffee. There are no vegan/plant based food options and only one milk alternative: oat milk. Service is okay, I think they're really busy being one of the only coffee shops in town. Went two days in a row and each time the food order was incorrect but coffee was good.
