A newly discovered road trip happy place. Vegan food options, a variety of non-dairy milk choices, AND used books for sale. Perfection 😍
It was lovely. Good coffee, nice pastries.
The best coffee spot in town!
Great omelet, savory bacon. Place is better known for the coffee....sadly I don't drink it....Everyone else seems to enjoy it!!
Lavender latte doesn’t disappoint and the prices are very reasonable!
Great little oasis of a coffee shop in the area. Tasty food and coffee, inviting and inclusive atmosphere, really nice staff.
Loved this cute coffee shop. Very nice staff and great coffee.
Black Cat was our first stop when we got into Ashland; we needed a caffeine boost and some fuel after the long drive from the cities and we were not disappointed. The staff were great, greeting us with a welcoming attitude and providing excellent service throughout our visit. The nachos took a bit, but the wait went quickly with our delicious drinks in hand and amidst the comfortable atmosphere of the shop, with an array of customers coming and going, bringing stories and greetings with them as they did. The nachos were superb, smothered in cheese and beans, with a side of perfectly prepared guacamole. I hope to come here again soon, the next time we are in the Ashland area we will be back! 💙
Good food, and good coffee.
It’s so beautiful I have lavender matcha tea with almond milk and it was delicious. I also had the spuds and shrooms pizza and it was amazing. The artwork is like no other and the vibe is one of the best I’ve experienced! Also they have clean restrooms with art in them.
Highest quality food, bakery nas coffee
Had the pizza which was alright but a bit spendy for what we got. It was almost a personal sized pizza. The coffee was great, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing and energetic.
Great atmosphere and the coffee was superb!
One of the only places in Ashland to get a good handcrafted latte.
A beacon of light. Essentially the platonic form of Coffeehaus in this very world we live in. I do recommend.
Interesting place, little price for my blood, but then again I am not a latte drinker or health food eater. Nice place to sit and chat though.
What an incredible shop with amazing coffee and a breakfast burrito to die for! Will be back!
Went for a nice breakfast on my cross country drive. It was worth the extra drive from Duluth. Good food and nice atmosphere. It can be very busy and places can be hard to find. Once we were done breakfast, we went to the bakery accross the street for another pastry before hitting the road again. Note that the bakery and the Black Cat work hand in hand together bringing fresh baked goods every morning !
Coffee was delicious and the breakfast burrito was one of the best I've had.
Chill coffee shop. The crowd is a mix in age, purpose and expressions. I enjoy going there with my family because of the diverse menu, laid back environment and small play area for the children.
