Great coffee shop with beautiful views. It was busy but service was quick. The breakfast sandwiches are great, along with the smoothies and tea. Grab your drink and take a stroll along the river

Great coffee and the best Lox I've had. Beautiful location and nice staff. Only complaint is it can get a bit noisy.
For my first time visit here started off good, until I realized that I was sitting for 20 minutes waiting on one grilled cheese sandwich, & noticing that two other tables that came after me received their food before me. I requested a refund to one employee which he ignored me, then as I approached the cashier, she wasn’t very remorseful nor apologetic about my first time experience. I find it really ridiculous that the Customer service for such a great coffee shop sucks. My first time coming to this place was trash!
One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever. Definitely recommend.
Food is amazing. Location is a little tricky to find. Location Is at the bottom of the building facing the river.

Had the waffle breakfast sandwich and sap sugar latte. Both were delightful! Lovely space. Not crowded at all went we visited
Great, friendly, approachable baristas; relaxed atmosphere; a view of the river; and best of all, Minneapolis's fantastic Spyhouse coffee! They sell it by the bag, as well. :D Edit: They no longer use Spyhouse, which mystifies me. Regardless, the espresso drinks are still better than most. The real winner here is the SAP iced matcha latte. Even if you don't like matcha, it's literally the best beverage ever created.
Pretty good coffee and food. Kind of expensive however view is great. Not 5 stars but my favorite option in Appleton.
Came through town for one night and stayed at hotel close by and decided to try for breakfast. Wonderful. Coffee was the salted Carmel latte and the breakfast was amazing.
Great place to get excellent coffee, food and a nice view. It’s a bit confusing trying to locate it for the first time, but once you’re sipping on their coffee, you’ll find that it’s worth it. Yes - it’s facing the water and located below and within the apartment complex. I ordered my usual go to - iced caramel latte. I knew going in that their sister company is Lawless, so I already had high expectations that were quickly lived up. They did a great job and the flavor was as I had hoped for. I also ordered the Green Shakshuka. I’m a huge tomatillo fan so when I say this, I mean this in the best way possible… it was really good, but it needed more of a base substance. I’ve reached the age where I need to carry tums on me for my heartburn for most meals. I ended up eating the egg, the pita bread and some of the tomatillo, but had to take the leftovers home to place it on top of some rice for dinner. Everyone I was with enjoyed their meals as well. The service was friendly and I look forward to trying more items on their menu.
Really glad I found this coffee shop in Appleton! A very modern atmosphere but cozy as well with outdoor seating. They had a lot of seasonal flavors 🍂and speciality flavors for coffee; along with the classic coffee options. Delicious, smooth espresso. A lot of food options as well. This is a great spot for chatting over coffee or studying. Beautiful location and good parking! Definitely recommend!
Before leaving for Door county we were looking for a place to get good breakfast & sit down to have coffee and Tempest is best place we had!! Nice place on riverfront with nice people!!
I have to say, this is probably the best coffee shop that I've ever been to. There are so many coffee shops in the Appleton area and I will bypass all of them and drive 20 minutes to get here. Everybody is always super friendly. Drinks are consistently amazing. I used to be a barista and I have to say, it's actually pretty uncommon to find a coffee shop that really knows how to pull a good shot and make a great drink. In my opinion this is the best of the best. They make their own homemade syrups and every drink is just delicious. Drinks are pricey but well worth it.
Tempest is my favorite coffee house in Appleton. Their coffee, breakfast, and bakery are amazing. Their staff, especially Sydney, are always wonderful. Even when there is a rush our orders always come out correctly and delicious. Their patio is dog friendly and it’s so nice to be able to get breakfast and then walk the fox river trail with our dog.
Absolutely amazing coffee and parfaits, but definitely a lack of signing from the road. Took me almost 20 minutes to find the place even with gps help. But definitely worth the looking
Excellent coffee. 5 stars of the coffee and service, 4 stars on the food and seating. Seats are uncomfortable and someone's difficult to come by. That said, they have outdoor seating, which is a huge plus!
Servers were very friendly and the food came out quickly regardless of how busy they were. The bathrooms were also very clean. If I lived in Appleton, I would come here everyday.
