The river view needs its own google maps page! Checking hours in maps could be confusing. I also wanna note too that finding the entrance was not easy. Some River View signage at both doors would be nice, as well as signage at the top floor. The hours on River Birch was confusing and the whole two locations, same building, different names, different hours, different entrance thing was a bit more difficult than it needed to be. Anyway, the rooftop bar River View is amazing and will be a frequent stop this summer. Not sure their plan but parties, dancing, DJ nights, and events would be amazing. Motown has great bars for such a small town but doesn’t do a great job breaking out with new stuff that’s active for a younger population beyond students. There are pubs, clubs, breweries and bars but a nice nightlife bar thats modern and energetic is what’s missing in town. Anyway, off my soap box, good beer/drink selection, great views, once you find it! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Morgantown or looking to mix up their routine
If I could give 0 stars- I would. The only good thing I’ve had from there was the time on the patio with that gorgeous view. I ordered an avocado toast- avocado on a toasted slice of bread. And was greeted with avocado on *untoasted* FLOPPY wonder bread. I’ve never had that before when asking for toast. It left me so flabbergasted I didn’t even eat it I just threw it away. I’m not too sure what happened or if there was a miscommunication- but I thought the order was pretty simple. Avocado on toast. The only two ingredients and they got it so wrong.
Best latte I’ve had in town! We got smoothies, wraps, PB&J and breakfast sandwiches. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was nice too :-)
Staff was and is always nice when I come in! Love the dairy free and vegan options that they always have:)

Great food and drink choices. Especially like the smoothie that wasn't too sweet. Very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Good spacial layout, open and airy but also private.

Breakfast wrap was super bland.. no seasoning at all and the egg wasn’t even scrambled it was fried hard and chopped up. Ordered a side of breakfast potatoes which also came in the wrap and ended up getting a side of French fries? Driver arrived at the cafe before my food was even ready and upon delivery to my home (literally like 5 mins down the road so not far) the fries I didn’t order were COLD cold and the wrap wasn’t far off. I get with ordering online your food shows up not the hottest all the time but this was kinda wack
River Burch is a hidden gem! It has such a great environment to either study or have conversations. They have fantastic options for coffee, gf/vegan food, and kombucha!
The coffee wasn’t almost all foam and over priced. Iced coffee was better. Overall unorganized.
Went in because of the pro all human window writing. Even just before close they had friendly staff and cases full of homemade baked goods and sides. Was blown away by the GF vegan cupcake they recommended for a snack that was better than any GF cupcake I've had that want made by my son.
Horrible. Wait over 50 minutes for a bagel!! Unorganized. talked alot.
I had no idea this place was here. Was here meeting a call league and happened upon it. Very cute and catchy. Nice menu. Pumpkin soup and chai are fantastic!
Things have changed a lot. Used to be a good spot, pre-pandemic.

I visited their rooftop bar, River View and Brew, twice during my weekend visit. The staff members are great and provided amazing service. The rooftop is setup well and has a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back!
As for the cafe I would recommend the smoked salmon anything. As for the rooftop bar Caitlin is rockin it! Tasty food, drinks, and organized service. Bravo!
The environment and workers are extremely nice. The coffee is also delightful. Although, the four times I have eaten there, I was only pleased with the food once. The pasta tastes like it has sat in the fridge for days and the soups have not been worth it. If you enjoy coffee, I would recommend sticking to that here.
I spent all day working from the Wi-Fi. It wasn’t super fast but fast enough to do Skype/zoom. The staff was friendly and helpful, played good music, I had a great breakfast smoothie bowl, lunch, and delicious afternoon smoothie. Better than I expected. Later we came back and went to the top floor for a wine and a great cheese board spread to watch the storm roll in. Staff was great letting us stand under cover while it poured rain and finish our drinks and cheese. Only gave 4 stars because there is limited power plugs and slower Wi-Fi. Recommended!
Really enjoyed everything. Great place to visit while in Morgantown
