The coffee is average and the smoothie was bland. Just alright is the best way to describe experience. Often when I go to a small shop in a revitalized area the service and coffee are superb. I felt like I was a bother to the people here. I find it odd they enforce the mask policy but do not have a sink to wash your hands in the restroom. Don't waste your time. Gas station coffee is just as good. Edit: it’s been two years since I have been to Morgantown. I stopped by the Blue Moose for the sole purpose of taking a picture of the restroom. Like I said two years ago, there is no sink in the restroom.
The Blue Moose Cafe is a great place to go for a quick breakfast bite. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is also very welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend The Blue Moose Cafe to anyone looking for a great meal.
A classic Morgantown coffee shop! I love the iced dirty chai and the asiago bagel with pesto cream cheese.
Tried to stop by and get coffee first thing in the morning but the line was so long it went out the door. Once inside there was barely any room to stand while waiting in line. I was feeling very claustrophobic so I left and walked around town until the line subsided. When I came back, the baristas weren’t in the best mood. After a rush like that, it’s no problem but taking the passive aggressiveness out on customers isn’t professional. I loved the warm earthy vibe inside but I didn’t really like the coffee that much. It was good for the price.
Great food, really friendly service, and a wonderful place to spend a weekend morning. The ambience here is peaceful but fun. everytime I come here, I always notice something new about the decor
Been coming here close to daily over the course of the past year, staff is super and I've never had a bad quality cold brew.

My wife and I stopped in here with our oldest daughter. Although you can't get a full breakfast with eggs etc the bagels that they have are exquisite. My wife and I both got bagels with locks and it was tremendous. They have a pretty good assortment of teas and coffees that will tickle your palate. It's a neat little place tucked away in Morgantown here. It definitely does bagels right! I'll give it a easy thumbs up

Do not let the pictures on Google fool you. We either came at the wrong time or none of those items are available. Yes, they have bagels (with butter or peanut butter) and a yogurt parfait type of bowl, but that is it. Based on the pictures, I expected to get a nice bagel/egg sandwich, wrap or something to that effect. I asked if they could put an egg on a bagel. The response was "we do not do eggs". Coffee was good, but if your expecting something more than a bagel or parfait, find another place.
The vanilla chia is fantastic and the service is always great.
Easy spot to walk to in downtown Morgantown! We really enjoyed the coffee, hot apple cider, pumpkin coffee cake, and the sundried tomato cream cheese bagel!
The best coffee in Morgantown. Top notch service and friendly, comfortable, and inviting atmosphere. Whenever we have visitors from outside of the area, we always make sure to hit up Blue Moose.
The coffee was terrible. The bagels were average. The air vents are growing an identified substance hence the dehumidifiers. We ordered (2) “Iced” drinks, mine had 2 pieces of ice, the other had less than 10. Heard it was good from some friends, but between the wretched smells, dirty appearance, and horrible coffee, we will not be back. DO NOT RECOMMEND! They need to take some notes from Annie’s.
The blue Moose Café is a absolute iconic staple of Morgantown West Virginia. I went there as a kid almost every single day until I moved away years ago) and I recently went back for a friends wedding. I couldn’t believe how nostalgic, and wonderful everything still was. Try the bagel and hummus sandwich :-) service was excellent. The young girls that took care of me were very attentive, and when I told them it was a special trip, they went out of their way to make it special for me. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to have a cuppa coffee watch some of the local color, and grab a quick bite to eat I recommend it highly
Got two mangled bagles, bad service and was skipped by two people who came in after me. One of the bageles salmon was Grey through the center and had a bad taste to it
The Blue Moose is a long standing business in Morgantown with a great reputation of the best coffee in town! Morgantown just wouldn't be the same without them. I love just hanging out in the cozy atmosphere with an old friend. Unfortunately, they have closed the kitchen and have reduced hours since the pandemic (unavoidable). But you can still get a lox bagel which are amazing. The staff are always so pleasant too.
Granola bowl is spot on. Coffee is very good as well. Highly recommended. We will be back :)
Always love it here. The atmosphere, service, and coffee is unmatched. I've finished so many assignments/papers/exam reviews in here. The environment is extremely welcoming and I've never had a barista that gave less than exceptional service.
