Love this cozy bakery. Though their space may be small, they craft excellent baked goods. Their empanadas are world-class. The birthday cake they made for my wife was insanely good. They also have great coffee.
Absolutely love this gem of Huntington, WV! The food is spectacular, the atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing, and the customer service is 10/10. I will FOREVER recommend this place to everyone I know.
Really cute bakery with amazing food and coffee! Try the empanadas - they are delicious!
Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had!! I’m usually a super sweet person and this drip coffee is good all on it’s own. Just a bit a cream and it’s delicious. Cool vibe and nice staff!
We had an amazing lunch from here. The empanadas were delicious but the real star was the desserts. These mini cakes were amazing!
The food is so good. It's FRESH which is rare in Huntington. The strawberry lemonade, salads, empanadas, coffee and cakes are all good.
This is a charming place to stop for coffee and a snack, staff are friendly and the food looks really good. Because of the high ratings, I purchased a dozen of different kinds of cookies here to bring to a new neighbor. They looked delightful but to my disappointment and dismay the neighbor recently confided that the actual experience of eating them was a solid "meh", bland and forgettable. Cookies have to taste good - not just look good - and it's not that hard to make some that do. So I have had to leave this low rating.
7-11-2022,today was my birthday and my daughter, bought me a carrot cake from this bakery, first of all the artistry of the tiny cake was beautiful, something to be marveled....and it tasted scrumptious!
I had a meeting in town and I stopped in to pick up some pastries. I got an assortment, and everything was dry, flavors were really subtle. Staff was super friendly though, really cool vibe inside. I’d give it a shot if you want a place to hang out and grab something while you’re there, I’d pass if you’re going for just the baked goods.
Nomada was very aesthetically pleasing and everything from the decor to the glassware seemed very personalized and well thought-out. The food was ok, but slightly expensive and the menu did not list prices. Staff also seemed rather frustrated with serving us but we understand everyone has bad days. Overall, Nomada is a beautiful, locally owned Huntington gem.
My friend and I tried the baby cakes which were really gross for $8 :( the icing on them was like eating sweet crisco, super oily and not like icing at all. The flavors of the cake were good but it was so dry and crumbly. The lemonades were really bad as well-but the worst part was that there were lipstick stains on my glass when I wasn't wearing lipstick-it was disgusting. The guy working the register was super kind and polite though!
Our first order from Nomada Bakery. We are super happy with customer service ,order details online and most of all our 2 cakes 🎂 were sooo good, moist ,presentable, fresh taste every one was very happy. We have Tres Leche cake and chocolate cake to please everyone. They really did x amazing 👏 😍 and we will return . Keep the awesome work 👏
I can't say enough good things about this place. Great food and good coffee. The baked goods are worth a stop on a daily basis. I wish I lived closer, but maybe it's a good thing I don't.
Very nice place, the atmosphere is great and the people are very friendly, the location is great. They have a variety of unique things and most of the stuff that I tried were very good, Highly recommend trying this place out for a snack and tea
Not only are they incredibly nice with incredibly delicious bakes, but there was an issue out of their control today and they went above and beyond to make sure I got my order (and I think they even have me the bigger size cake lol) - they don’t deliver but they dropped it off to me, since I couldn’t come get it. Seriously nice humans and amazing bakers!
Cute place, barista was very helpful with suggestions for breakfast option. The ham and cheese empanadas were tasty.
Best cake ever!!!!!! Made an already incredibly special day all the better :) - Cecily from the Innocence Project
Cute, cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff, but the food was disappointing. I got a few things - the Mexican Street Corn empanada (filling was great, but the wrapper kind of stale and limp), a Chocolate Raspberry Cookie (good), and a Lemon Lavender Roll (dry, and hardly tasted like anything in its namesake). If I were to come back, it’d only be for the tea/coffee and confections. Unfortunately regret coming here for breakfast 😔
Pricy but worth it, coffee and pastries were amazing.
A truly unique experience. You feel like you are in a bistro in France or New York city without the rushed attitude. The atmosphere is inviting and you want to sit and look at the decor and all the breads and pastries on display. Not only are they beautiful but everything we tried was delicious! The young man serving us was very friendly and kind. He took the time to explain what items were and was just a pleasure to chat with! We will most definitely be returning and recommending Nomada to anyone wanting a great experience!
