Love everything about this place!
Best little restaurant in town!!! They usually add an item and soup to the menu for a weekly special. It’s always something delicious. The pastries and baked goods are all delicious. EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS. Our community is so blessed to have Fruits of Labor. Great employees!!! Always super nice and wave when I see them outside. Love them

Service was excellent, the coffee I got was really good and their chocolate cake was delicious and the pepperoni rolls was good as well, we also got some carot cake cookies and croissants they were really good. I highly recommend coming here.
Food was exceptional. I highly recommend that you eat here if you are in Alderson, WV.
Fruits of Labor — may be Alderson’s most precious gem! I’ve only picked up lunch twice here but we have not been disappointed. The egg salad croissant sandwich and pasta salad are insanely good! My husband loves the ham salad croissant and pasta. DO NOT miss out on this bakery’s incredible carrot cake cookies too! Holy Guacamole, the bakery items are what dreams are made of, for real!🍪😍 This bakery/cafe closes at 3pm so make sure you swing by when you’re able. You’ll see them making fresh pasta salad and other items at 2pm, since the end of day crowd is just as busy as lunchtime. You can call in your order ahead of time; however, there’s no need. The service is expeditious and the food is delicious!!
