We did the DIY party package for my daughters birthday. We arrive 30min before the party to set up the decorations. We weren’t allowed to really help any (for liability reason) but this also put a restraint on the party starting at 4. Only the birthday girl was allowed in the play area until everyone could get checked in. Other kids weren’t allowed in until maybe 15 or 20 minutes past 4 (my paid time) due to decorations needing to be put up first. If this was the case I would say 2 workers should have been available rather than 1. I feel it took away from my paid time from the party, especially since the play area closes 30min before the due time (4-6) for clean up. That’s understandable, but not allowing other kids in until check in past the party start time was my only complaint. Other than that, the kids had a blast.

A wonderful place to grab a coffee, red bull, or tea. They also have light snacks and adult beverages if desired. The kids have an incredible area to play around in, while you enjoy a light repast.
Calm atmosphere for parents, safe fun for kids. Easy to keep an eye on them while you talk. Would completely recommend if you have a birthday party for a younger kid!

5 stars! Very clean, delicious coffee, and a good variety of toys. Especially loved that they have a corner for children from 0-18 months. My 15 month old had a blast today. As someone with a degree in early childhood education, I was impressed by the age appropriate and open-ended toys! So much fun!!
First time here and my daughter absolutely loved it. Very clean, and neat. Safe for kids to play and have a great time while you enjoy some coffee. Definitely coming back.
Very kind and fun staff, thee play area is amazing for littles ones. My little enjoyed running around, climbing and exploring all the things!
Really enjoyed bringing my son here! He loved the assortment of toys/play areas and I was able to peacefully enjoy my HOT coffee. Nice to see cafes like this in Yakima.
Fun place to take my 1 year old to play. Nice selection of food and it was delicious. Very clean play area and bathroom as well.
I was delighted to spend my morning with my son and husband at Play/Café The food is DELICIOUS! I had a grilled chicken pesto and is the best sandwich I ever had. The play and dining area are super clean which I love and the customer service was great. I recommend to anyone who's trying to have their toddler socialize with other kids and at the same time spend quality time with your partner.
I can’t believe I just took my kids here for the first time. They had so much fun and it was nice to just watch them explore and play in a clean and safe environment. Super friendly and helpful staff. Modern and educational toys. Seriously a gem for our area!
Great place for a kids birthday party or just to have lunch while the kids play indoors.

So thankful that this has come to West Valley. Places where it builds community, you can meet other parents, kids can play, have a coffee, lunch and all in a very clean place. They have done a wonderful job from the selected play pieces to the items they serve. More places where people can gather and spend time with their kids is needed in WV. Highly recommend coming out and supporting this business - let's keep them here WV!
I have a year and a half old boy and since moving here from California I found it very hard to find any indoor play areas for my little kiddo. TILL I was driving past this place and made a quick turn to check it out. Literally loved it. The employees are very sweet, for sure making a membership.
Such a fun place to bring your young kiddos. Took my 1 year old daughter today and she had an absolute blast. So happy we have a place like this in Yakima. Can’t wait to go again.
What an asset to Yakima! I was able to read, eat lunch, and just relax and enjoy watching my youngest kiddos (4 & 6) play for hours. The space is large and open, everything is clean, staff is super friendly and informative. The drop-in pricing is fair, and there are several membership or punchcard options for even more savings. We homeschool and I’m very excited to be able to bring my older son and work one-on-one with him while the younger kiddos are engaged in play close by. Also, they are testing out staying open until 8pm on Friday nights. We popped back in with dad in the evening for a local beer and some more play time, did not disappoint!
This place is fantastic! My daughters love it. I was in Yakima on vacation, but needed to get some work done and Play/Cafe was a life saver! My kids played safely for 2 hours while I typed reports and sipped a fantastic wine. Lots of moms were in the play area and I noticed no fights over toys or bullying. The owner stays were he can easily view all the kids as well, so this place is really safe.
