This is a hidden gem. It is a small shack in the RV park, but don’t let looks deceive you, this tiny hole in the wall has some delicious food. We got breakfast. The house made sausage patty is delicious! The homemade biscuits are so fluffy and rich! The hash browns are seasoned and yummy and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Also ordered the breakfast burrito and it was absolutely delicious with fluffy scrambled eggs and sausage gravy stuffed inside. Worth the stop! Friendly service, a hot good meal…it is the perfect hole in the wall to stop and eat!

My family absolutely love this little place! It's a small campground that accommodates RV’ERS with full hook up options, 50 and 30 amp sites that are really easy to pull into, a small yard area all the way around each parking space, a public paid use showers and laundry machines, and a little store that you can purchase forgotten hygiene items, snacks, beverages, fishing tackle, and other travel essentials you might need during your stay. It also houses the kitchen that offers amazing fresh made food options at decent prices that you can eat there in the restaurant area, take out or have delivered to you at your camping site!! There is a lovely gazebo area with benches and cute yard ornaments and fire pit that guests can use. Each site also has a picnic table and additional parking spot for another vehicle like a car. The nightly rates are well within a lower budgeted camping trip range and they also offer longer stay rates as well as special discounts for good Sam members and a few others. But best of all was the demeanor and amazing customer service of the owners! They were super amazing to work with and were able to accommodate us and our desperate and immediate need to find a parking space in the area so I could continue to maintain my employment without a very long commute after our reservation was canceled without reason or notice at the only other rv park in Wilbur at the absolute peak of the busy season! They were real life savers for us! We most certainly would be returning customers to the campground if we were not relocating several states away, but we have ordered take out here several times in the 1.75 years since coming to this area! We always order here when we travel to Spokane for a fast easy delicious meal for the family while on the road! I gave this place only 4 of 5 stars on atmosphere only because there is a shortage of trees and shade making those summer days and evenings brutal and incredibly hot and sometimes even unbearable!

I've been here a few times and can say it's a fantastic establishment. The breakfast is great. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak and if you do ask for the homemade biscuit. The biscuits are great and they offer an extra cup of sausage gravy. This place is a throwback to what America should be. There's a tackle shop with the gear you need for Lake Roosevelt in the restaurant and the friendliest service you could ask for.

This place is surprisingly fantastic. Im not a big fan of pizza but the pizza served here is better than every chain pizza I've ever had.

Had a great experience, took my son here for Mother's Day to have mommy Ricky time and the food was great, lady serving us was real sweet and had a nice customer pay for our meal for Mother's Day so thank you again. Food was reasonably priced, think my son and I found our new regular spot!

We had burgers and fries, I had the best mushroom swiss burger ice had in years, hubby had a giant burger that had a burger patty, a sausage patty, bacon, cheese and an egg, he lived it. Owners are great people & the place is very clean

Friends on the way up to our property in Gifford, dined here about a month ago, told us it was very good. On our way back from our property this month we decided to try the Cook Shack and stopped in. We were not disappointed!! My husband had the Beast Burger and it was awesome. The homemade fries are delicious!! Marc / owner and cook came out to visit with us while eating our meal. Nice friendly owners and good service. We will be back to try other items on their menu 😃 highly recommend!!

Worst meal of my life and I am 73 years old. Take it from me you do not want to eat here. Rude service, terrible food, cooked on a George Foreman grill. Reply: I ordered the NY steak. The "cook" asked me how I wanted it cooked. I told him between med-rare and medium. He replied that he was cooking for a lot of other people, so wouldn't be able to check it often, but he would "get it right". He is the one that told me he was cooking it on a George Foreman grill. The steak came out well-done, tough, and very stringy. A poor grade of meat. It was inedible. I live 300 miles from the restaurant so won't be returning. I paid cash for the meal.

Giving it a 3 because there was basically no sign and we had no idea where it was until the girl at Doxies pointed it out. So we couldn't try the place. I wish we could have tried it out.

We didn't expect much from this place, but it was clean and we were hungry. Were we ever surprised! The cook/server, Jeremy, was fun and informative. It was the end of the day, but he didn't rush us through. The pulled pork and the brisket sandwiches were flavorful, not spicy or kefchup-y. Delicious.
