The food was great, the service was good, and the atmosphere was awesome. The restaurant was filled with paintings and live plants along with great punk/rock music which I thought was a nice setting. One thing I can see as a downside is the price of some items on the menu, but the food you get is delicious and plentiful.
Mother's day may have made our experience what it was but it wasn't good. I took our food 1 hour to arrive at our table. Once we walked in and sat down, we were given water and told we would be brought paper menus. That didn't happen. A table next to us told us to use the qr code and lent us their menu. Then no instructions are given but you have to place your own order on your own phone. Then pay on your phone. No one ever checked on any table to see if doing OK... we felt stuck. We had ordered and paid so had to sit and wait and wait and wait. To be told 50 minutes in, they were out of 1 of the ingredients in a breakfast 3 of us ordered and we had to choose a substitution. Bathrooms are dirty too. It truly would've been easier to stay home and cook. No thanks Endive! Customer service and coffee at breakfast are pretty important.
Five stars for the food. Two stars for service. And we’ll talk about that first off. I don’t know if they just assumed I was a repeat patron or what. I called and told them I had never been there. And I made a reservation Upon arriving I was greeted and seated. And no body explained how the ordering process was supposed to be. So.. here goes. you have to scan the fob at the table. It pulls up a menu online that you have to login to the wi-fi to see. No reception in the building. None. We even asked for a paper copy of the menu after figuring this part out and still weren’t ran through how it works. But the menu on paper has LESS than the menu online. Okay.. So you place your order online and they don’t come to your table again until the food and or drinks you order like coffee are sent out. There are drinks and water in the cold case that you get up and get yourself. Very Interesting. After eating when you get your bill on the phone the suggested tip starts at 18%. For what I do not know. Unless it all goes to the cook. Which is okay by me because that was the only thing that really shined here. The food. The flavors were really spot on. The portions were excellent size for the price. I had the noodle soup. With shrimp. It was very tasty and all the flavors mixed together were amazing. Would I go back? I don’t know yet. Possibly. Very good food.
I am super disappointed I had such a negative experience as I love endive and their mission to bring great vegan food to Richland. Unfortunately I don’t think I will be coming back until they are able to train up their staff to timely get orders out. I placed an online order and was shocked at the 60-75 minute order wait but proceeded because I do love their food. As soon as I arrived (after the order pick up time not to mention) they said it was going to be another 10 minutes. I sat in the drive through for 20 additional minutes waiting for my order. When it was finally brought out staff didn’t acknowledge their mistake or care enough to try to make things right or apologize.
Best food I’ve ever had in tri cities, and amazing service and atmosphere as well. Allergen friendly, which is hard to find here. Cannot recommend enough!
Needed something gluten free and family recommended this place. I had the poached eggs with avocado sauce on gluten free toast. It was delicious! I got my food to go, but next time will eat in. A nice place to sit and catch up over a glass of wine or a coffee.
Great, small, local place. They feature some delicious food, kicking coffee and a wide variety of flavor and taste for your pleasure. Innovative in that you get "fine dining food," at Panera prices, and you're not dealing with a horrible corporate chain, you're helping to make the Tri-Cities weird and local.
In my opinion best place to eat in town. Start at the top of the menu and work your way down.
Amazing we loved it and the service was great! Personal favorite: smashed potatoes (not sure what they are really called- video for reference 😍)
It was fun to taste everything that was gluten-free and dairy-free! Coffee was high fructose corn syrup FREE!! I'm going back.
Interesting and unique foods with plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options available.
Beautifully colored food with amazing flavors. Great selection of beverages. I come here everytime I'm around tri cities
I really enjoy this little spot and we come here often for breakfast on the weekends. The food is unique and tasty and the drinks are good. The vibe is great with fun music playing, lots of plants, and plenty of seating. My only complaint is the consistency of the menu is nonexistent. I’ve ordered the same meal multiple times and every time it comes out different than the last time and usually deviates from the menu pretty significantly. I’ve asked to have things corrected when I didn’t get what I thought I was ordering and they usually are happy to assist but it feels weird that I have to ask.
I was pretty disappointed, overpriced, slow, and overall incompetent staff. Would not recommend this place unless you have hours to spend waiting on your food and drinks, and then more time to fix your ticket.
Honestly, I had really high hopes for this place, as it got a lot of good reviews. Unfortunately, it's a hot mess. The food was brought out between our table in 30-40 min gaps, so some of us were done eating before the others even got food. Parts of our orders were forgotten, (even though they were all purchased at the same time), and we had to remind them and then wait for it to be made on the fly. They also gave one of our orders to the table near us. They screwed up our ticket orders, and we had to wait another 20 min standing at the counter to attempt to pay and get it all fixed. And to top it all off they were rude to us when we were trying to figure out the whole order mess. The food was decent, but with all of the other contributing factors: way overpriced, inept staff, and unprofessional management, I will not be going back.
What I ordered was really good, but I didn't know what 90% of the menu said. There should have been descriptions with the items too make ordering easier. Also we had an 18month toddler with us and there were no highchairs or booster seats so it made it really hard to keep him still. He wanted to wander around. There's no kids menu either. Would be a great place for date night with no kids only if you can understand the menu.
The endive never fails to deliver when it comes to delicious food and great service. Local art on display is icing on the cake.
I'm so upset that I have known about this place for months but waited so long to visit! I stopped in for lunch, and requested a surprise vegan option. What I got was not something I would have normally ordered, but it was amazing! A combination of flavors I did not recognize but also couldn't get enough of (the employee kindly explained the method he used to preserve the beets and what the dukkah seasoning was). I cannot wait to return and try more of what is on the menu. The service was not what I was expecting, there were only 2 people taking orders and preparing everything, but I was happy to be sort of left alone and enjoy an amazing meal at a very affordable price.
** update 1/2023 I still love this place and the changing menus with all the new and interesting flavors I ordered Abualitas bebe, and oh man, not too sweet, absolutely perfect portion, and damn beautiful!! Pic included! I am going to regret promoting this super delish place... I mean the atmosphere alone is enough to make you love the place! Art hung all over the walls, 50s music blaring, walls (yes WALLS) of all different beer and wine, and super dope crew! Hands down, this is the BEST foodie place in the tricities. PROVE ME WRONG! Completely chefed menu with plating you can't believe is in front of you... you don't want to even touch the works of art. Flavors... ALL the flavors on one plate. Freaking amazing. For reference we ordered the Bakinbene and the Mushibene along with mango and cranberry mimosas...perfection.
Stopped in to check out this place, as new to the area. The man working there was acting cashier, waiter, drive through person and chef. And probably busser, as there were several dirty tables. He was unable to provide cordial service to me as he was distracted by all his duties. When asking him about low carb options he handed me a menu and pointed to a couple items, while I was trying to understand what he was pointing at… later to find out they were salads. I asked about the prawn dish because it made no mention of how many prawns were in the dish, and calories were not noted. The man simply said, there was a full description on the menu without offering any further details, he then walked away from me to help a drive through customer. At that point I left. Between lousy service and what looked like questionable sanitation practices, I’ll pass.
