The beans are roasted perfectly - as a former coffee shop owner, I have a deep respect for effort it makes to make perfect espresso and the barista delivered. Latte and mocha were the right proportion of milk to espresso, appreciate they don't do whipped cream, and their latte art did not disappoint. I was on a urban graze and felt compelled to try their avocado toast. They used the right crusty country bread, and I loved the greens with Sriracha Mayo dressing. The shop has great ambiance, I see why students love it. I look forward to brewing the beans I picked up.

I wanted to love this place as it's in the closed Vessel coffee which had amazing coffee. Our hot coffee wasn't hot and the chai wasn't great, my dirty Chai didn't taste dirty or spicy.
We go here often, the staff are always very nice and welcoming, great coffee, a good experience.
Unhygienic. Multiple times I have seen staff allow non service dogs inside, including a dog that jumped up and put its paws on the surface they serve food from. Staff just cooed over it. Gross.
Ladder Coffee Roasters on Monroe lets in the sun with large windows and has a zen ambiance, perfect for hanging out, conversing, or enjoying a good book. Check out their breakfast menu & try the avocado toast. This place welcomes its customers with friendly baristas and is backed by excellent coffee!

Quality coffee in quality shots, even on an extremely busy day. There are tons of nooks with outlets for laptop users, and a bright welcoming atmosphere. I had trouble getting a hotspot cell data connection (brick exterior might be the reason) but the free wifi was sufficient. If you are depending on cell for prompt text messages (as I was), it may be better to try and sit by a window. I'll definitely be back. This was a very nice place to work with a laptop, meet with friends / colleagues, or sit and sketch with a tasty drink at hand.
Friendly staff and good coffee! Was pretty cold in the space when I visited but there was a lot of seating available. It would be great if they had a toaster oven to warm up pastries. I know I had the vegan coffee cake and it was a bit older so it wasn’t great but could have been a lot better if it was warmed.
Super comfy and down to earth coffee shop. Great to go with friends or to meet professionals. Amazing espresso!
