Wow, what a fabulous experience. Like walking back in time. This market has so much character. The fish monger makes the day, with their fun fish throwing and playfullness. It was hilarious watching people's interaction with the fish mongers. I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful display of fresh flowers at a market, and they were cheap. So many tulips and the freshness and quality were superb.

The market is a one of a kind experience and was where we spent the majority of our time in Seattle by far. There’s a ton of shops and vendors selling handmade items. Walking all of the streets, alleys, and halls will take just about the entire day as there are multiple levels and so much to see. For a meal I strongly recommend Pike Place Chowder, it was the best I’ve ever had. The surrounding scenery at the market is also pretty awesome and there are many areas that are great to watch the sun set behind the Olympic Mountains when the weather is clear. Definitely make sure to check out the fish-throwing and stick some gum on the gum wall!

It goes without saying that this is one of the most iconic spots in Seattle. My sister and I planned to spend 2 hours here but ended up staying 5!!! This is a truly special place filled with so much amazing diverse food and people. If you are in Seattle put this at the top of your list. I recommend hiring a tour guide to avoid confusion/crowds if it’s your first time.

A massive marketplace that consists of both indoor and outdoor stalls and booths and places to eat, endless rows of vendors selling vintage, handmade, homegrown and WA grown wares. Scored an amazing jar of WA grown saffron, as well as various tchotchkes to bring home to family and friends. Seafood of every kind can be purchased VERY fresh here and also eaten very fresh here and well! The original Starbucks location is still in operation and thriving as the line was ridiculously long to get a cup. We weren't here during height of high season so the crowds were as crazy as they could be but I can imagine parking and all gets nutty with pedestrians walking around everywhere and not caring if they get clipped by a car then either. Oh and they are VERY strict on closing time so get there early!

And of course famous fish market never fails. All the kinds of fish you could imagine! Different salmons, alaskian halibut, sole, chilean sea buss, and many many more! And all kinds of seafood freshly caught from Pacific ocean!

I love this place. You'll want to note that it's usually busy even on weekdays (depending on the season) and parking is rare to find close by. The gum wall is in the alley below off the street (another must see) You also have the original Starbucks which will have a huuuuuge line. It's still nice to walk by it even if you don't go in There is some amazing Mac and cheese at the cheese factory Public restrooms and additional shops are located on the lower level Most shops close down around 5 or 6pm but it's also fun to walk through at night time and see all the neon lights

A must see, must explore place! There are several blocks and several floors of shops, restaurants, and everything in between! I highly recommend you dedicate a day to this area or what we did was get a hotel near it and go through it everyday on our weekend trip! Highly recommend Rachel's Ginger Beer, Shy Giant Frozen Yogurt, Pike Place Chowder, and Old Stove Brewing Co.! Be aware the famous Starbucks in the Pike Market is the oldest, NOT the original. The original used to be where the Seatown seafood restaurant is, but it burned down and other stores have closed elsewhere in the city, meaning that Starbucks is the oldest existing one but is in fact store number 5!

You name it its there. Parking can be difficult to find but overall this place is a fun place to hang out at specially on a weekend where the vibe and energy is amazing. Plenty of food options, fresh produce and merchandise to shop for. Also comes with a good view of the sea and on a clear day, the faraway mountains (possibly in Canada). Definitely one of the must-visit places for tourists. The first ever Starbucks store is also located in front of the Market.

Very few "world famous" tourist attractions are actually worth visiting more than once. Pike Place Market is absolutely an exception to that rule, this place is incredible, the vendors sell actually amazing food and vegetables, the neon signs are iconic and awesome. There are tons of cool businesses below the main walkway that I highly encourage people check out

Hey this was pretty cool! I heard it was not a good/safe place to visit. On a Saturday I thought it was fine. We had a great time and I highly recommend it. We all felt completely safe and I can’t recall running into the homeless population. Can’t say what it’s like to visit at night but dying the day, I highly recommend it. Make sure you watch them throw the fish😂🙌

What a great way to spend a rainy winter morning. So many things to see and try. Local artists with amazingly creative and original wares. We took the dog in the backpack and had no issues. We could have stayed 2 more hours and still not seen everything. Beautiful views from the backside. Bustling and beautiful. 10 out of 10 for sightseeing. We went early morning and that seemed like a great time. 🥡🥮🍩🍔🥗🍤🥟🍦🍰🍭🍫🍓🍒🧀🥜🍇🥝🥯🥦🥖🍯🥨🥐🦐

It's a huge market with large number of stores inside and also a fun place to explore some interesting stuffs. It was so crowded when I visited for the first time. Busy atmosphere. Most of the items seem pricey, but it's fresh and support local is a must. What a great experience and attractive to check this place out.

It’s like a rabbit warren. Every stair is someplace cooler than the last. Nice views! Great spot for tourists to meet up, have a meal, check out the Gum Wall (one on the weirdest tourist spots ever!!!) and just soak up Seattle.

First time visitor and it was a bit overwhelming...from the fish throwing tradition to the incredible variety of fresh produce, freshly baked bread as well as craft and art items...there was something for everyone. The only caveat...it was packed elbow to elbow ...some wore masks, but most did not...a person walking by commented that it was a covid super spreader waiting to happen.

A must-see Seattle experience. Great collection of shops and vendors offering a wide variety of goods ranging from fresh seafood, fruits, vegetables, and flowers to handmade crafts, clothes, and souvenirs. Famous for freshly caught fish that are thrown across the shop and prepared for customer orders, it's fun to watch! And even better to eat! Try the grilled salmon sandwich, some famous chowder, or a grilled cheese sandwich from Beecher's. Come hungry, you will not be disappointed! And, of course, pay a visit to the first, original Starbucks store that started it all.

A truly unique experience to walk the shops, vendors, and the waterfront. A Seattle tourist must-see. During busy times, it is packed with people on the streets and complex, but the pier by the Seattle Aquarium is a peaceful retreat nearby for other people (like me) who get social anxiety around large crowds.

If you love food, supporting local artisans as well as taking in some scenic views then this is a must place for you when you visit Seattle. Just wandering around and taking it all in was so much fun, plus I got to purchase a few keepsakes to remember my trip here!
