My new favorite coffee ☕ place in Seattle. The coffee actually tastes like the name of the coffee.

They have a website with a menu (no prices, tho). Very spacious cafe with lots of beverage choices. I got a Banana Bread Latte ($5.25 for 8oz) which unfortunately didn't taste like a banana flavored latte. The cinnamon dust was too overpowering so it was like drinking a normal latte with lots of cinnamon powder.

Not very friendly service from the lady with purple hair. As someone who works bartending I know how over worked you can feel but no need for snarky attitudes towards people. I came in and got a sandwich a burrito and 2 coffees and felt like I ruined her day over it. Not too mention I ordered a latte with an extra shot and it tasted like straight water. I asked about it and received a cold response. There’s better places with better customer service especially for $40.

Nice ambiance and delicious drinks! Convenient location too. Very relaxing here. I can see how on a busier day that the inside could get quite full.

Great drip coffee and baked goods too. Vegan scone was super good (and I'm not a vegan). Nice indoor space.

I've been spending about 12 hours a week studying at various cafes around Seattle and Eastlake Coffee is my favorite! They have consistently friendly service, great coffee, and an environment that's conducive to studying. Prices are reasonable compared to some other cafes and food selection is decent (mostly paninis and some pastries).

Disclaimer this review is based on my single experience, so take this with a grain of salt. I gave Eastlake Coffee 2 stars because I ordered a decaf latte and clearly got a caffeinated one instead. I can understand if the place was packed but I was literally the only customer there. Also a little lacking on the vegan food options, scones that’s it. I seem to remember more options when they were Voxx.

Cortado. Why? Cortado. Just gonna keep coming back here cause the cortado they do blows me away EACH AND EVERY TIME. You, cortado. Get me more cortado. There’s an awesome almond croissant if your lazy butt gets there early enough. Ok. Hey the cortado is really good here.

Not as good as when it was Voxx. On 5/22/20 I had the same sandwich there I used to have when it was Voxx and it tasted like a mayonnaise sandwich with extra mayonnaise and a side of mayonnaise. One of the managers came over to "re-check" inventory after I picked a sandwich out of the case and proceeded to touch each and everything in the case with un-gloved hands. I'm assuming he washed his hands it was just strange to see someone walk over to a case of retail food and reach in and touch everything. My co-worker tried it after Voxx sold it and was charged $8 for a Venti Americano that tasted watery. I stopped drinking the coffee there a very long time ago. The 3 stars is because they bothered to stay open during COVID-19, but back to Starbucks I go! ...Fast forward to 5/12/22 a reply to this review -->Two Years Later<--.

I haven’t tried their coffee but I love that I can get Macrina pastries here without waiting in the Macrina line.

Excellent espresso drinks and lovely atmosphere! Not to mention super cool employee who was working when I went in! I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of a relaxing spot to enjoy coffee (among the various array of food and drinks they offer) as well as those looking to hang out and get work done with a great cozy (but not toooooo cozy, it’s just right!) type of environment ☺️☕️

Great vibes, location, and customer service! Perfect Sunday study spot in the practical sense, too-- plenty of comfortable seating, outlets at practically every other seat, right by the bus stop, fast wifi, etc. Definitely have this place marked down on my local favs list!
