Lovely 7:30am breakfast here :) The black sesame latte was deliciously heavy on the sesame, and not too sweet, which paired perfectly with oat milk. Their vegan coconut ube muffin is absolutely scrumptious, as is there knockout vegan breakfast sammie and biscuits and gravy. Slather them with hot sauce for a real morning wake up! Definitely coming back again to try more baked goodies and specialty drinks :)

This has been our favorite Seattle coffee shop for over 6 years now! My husband and I used to live in the Maple Leaf neighborhood and we would come here before our weekend mountain adventures. It holds a special place in our heart! The staff is always super friendly and energetic, the food is outstanding (and one of the last remaining reasonably priced places in Seattle, where inflation has gotten out of hand and unaffordable for many!) and the specialty coffee is so good! I love their mocha! They make their own chocolate sauce. My hubby and I have since lived abroad and had a baby and are now living in Ballard, and we still make special weekend trips just to come here! Keep up the great work Cloud City Team! You’re doing it right!!

18 minutes from ordering coffee to it being ready. They clearly were taking too many orders and were backed up. Breakfast sandwich at McDonald's would have been better. Staff friendly and clearly working as best they could.

We've eaten here almost everyday of our trip to Seattle as it's near our rental and I really love this place! Ordering online is easy and the bagel sandwiches are just perfect! Love that they have quite a few vegan options for the breakfast sandwiches. They have wonderful teas and coffees as well. My husband has enjoyed his mocha, my son gets the hot chocolate, and I tried their monthly special which was a toasty hojicha green tea mixed with cocoa, very unique and really good!

Yummy breakfast sandwiches, good coffee, great staff and fast service. A true community hub.. I'd weep. If it wasn't here.

I ordered a 20oz Latte with no ice, but was only served half the amount. Initially, I thought someone had drank my Latte. The barista explained that it was because there was no ice in the drink. I measured it at home, and I found that it was only 300ml. If 20oz drinks are more expensive, they shouldn't give such a small amount. At least other cafes don't have such a large discrepancy. The experience was terrible and I feel like I was deceived.

The coffee was creative but just okay, the staff was super duper awesome, charismatic and helpful. It was just so crowded in there and the outdoor seating wasn't very cozy

Great espresso, "Honor bar" of drip and tea for quick fill ups, single origin and multiple types of pour-overs, excellent baked goods, and friendly people. What else could someone want in a neighborhood coffee shop? 2023 Update: I still love this place!

My go to spot for Sunday morning coffee. The blend here is really nice. Breakfast sandwiches are really good, as are the baked goods (I like to morning glory muffin)

Lovely little coffee shop, though the coffee was a bit bitter and over roasted for my taste. That said, cozy little place, with exceptionally awesome service. Edit. I am editing because I don't know how to reply directly to a reply to my review. To the person whom replied, I simply had an Americano. And I understand that each coffee has its own roasting profile and all of that, and this one simply didn't meet my personal pace. That is in no way meant to detract from the exceptional service nor that I think a majority of people would find this particular coffee delightful!

I really enjoyed the coffee and the breakfast sandwich was standard, but a solid option. I'm sure the atmosphere in the summer is lovely, but in the winter make sure to have a warm coat.

Beloved neighborhood spot for breakfast, lunch, and coffee. I recommend the grilled cheese with a free side of kale-slaw or one of the excellent quiches, heated up. I love that they make available their used espresso grounds as a nitrogen supplement for farmers and gardeners in the community.

We just had two fantastic desserts: Olive Shortbread (with a blush of pepper) and gluten free Coconut cake. They are both delicious and highly recommended!
