My husband and grandson LOVE the coffee here. They use Brazilian and Ethiopian beans and blends. (You can buy coffee beans here too.) I love the Stash tea they use, which is very smooth. We had breakfast sandwiches--a ham and cheddar croissant plus sausage and egg on an English muffin. They grill them on a panini, which leaves them tasty and fresh. Hot Shots is a large space with ample seating, both at tables along the wall and in the lounge area. In addition, there is plenty of outdoor seating.
The staff are always very friendly.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Hot Shots Java. The staff were super friendly, willing to answer questions and make suggestions, and excellent at making our drinks. Prices were average for a local coffee shop. They added a special touch with chocolate covered espresso beans or little chocolates on top of our beverages. There were many optiona. We ordered a London Fog and the seasonal Sugar & Spice coffee drink. Both were delicious. The atmosphere was great, and bathrooms were very clean. Highly recommend!

Great coffee and specialty drinks! A good selection of baked goods and other menu items. We just wanted an afternoon pick me up of coffee and a sweet bite. Perfect! Friendly staff too!
I got a blended coffee with flavoring, so I can't say exactly how good their brand of coffee itself is, but if it's even half as good as the drink I received, then this place is a MUST if you enjoy flavorful coffee and you happen to be in Poulsbo.

Wow! Yes, yes, yes! Hot Shots Java is the rare place that makes a really great espresso! It reminded me of the espressos that I would get in Europe: intense, bold coffee flavor without the bitter strained-through-a-sock flavor of the garbage espressos that most coffee shops produce. Thank you for being the rare stand-out!
