Love this place! My favorite coffee stop in PA, by far! So fun and eclectic, exactly the vibe I want when having a cuppa and a good book. I had a fantastic warm blueberry muffin here and some kind of frothy, delicious drink (don't remember the name). Also, delivered to them while doing Instacart and they made me a free drink, it made my hard day totally turn around! Thank you for being so friendly, reminding me that people are kind and I'll only get warm drinks from ya'll in PA! ♡
It is wild to me that the staff would openly talk about how their avocados had went bad and still serve avocado toast with brown, rotted avocados. Why not just tell me the avocado toast was unavailable? After i ordered I heard the staff discuss the avocados and said they had rotted. I assumed incorrectly I got the last of the good batch. Big mistake. They serve rotten food here. I appreciated the staff who offered me a refund after a different staff member said “I did the best I could”. Apparently her best was serving inedible food.

Friendly service for excellent espresso drinks at pricing you won't find everywhere. We came at the end of the day, so some options were sold out, but I was still able to get a delicious specialty drink (keto shaken espresso). You can find standing specialty drinks and seasonal ones too. Some (mostly breakfast focused) food items available and baked goods as well. Little area with gifts/coffee you can purchase in the front. Cute interior with lots of seating and even a piano! You can find a bar in the back too.
This is a cozy, small coffee shop with an outdoorsy atmosphere. The taxadermied (sp?) animal heads at the front were a bit daunting but you get over it quickly. I got the trail mix latte - a seasonal special, and it was perfect. I asked for it to be less sweet, and the barista made it perfectly. I also got the s'mores whoopie pie and it was delicious!
I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on an english muffin with Sriracha and got a burrito thats double the price if a sandwich and got charged for the burrito and NOT the sandwich i ordered. I then tried to get my order corrected and got it on a bagel of all things and no Sriracha even after telling them what i wanted for the 3rd time. Used to be my favorite coffee shop for its sandwiches but ig the register girl is to busy on her phone to pay attention to what people are ordering and she was also really rude when i tried to ask questions about getting a spritzer. And who doesnt have redbull?? These lotus drinks dont even taste good. Im so disappointed and my mom is also disappointed in her chai not even tasting like a chai.
This place will make coffee perfectly, meaning if you're used to large chains that put too much milk or pull espresso incorrectly, you might think they didn't do it right here. So just note you'll get a really delicious, well-made drink that may not match more commercial places! Staff is super friendly and helpful too!
The Great Northern Coffee Bar has an excellent Northwestern atmosphere! The perfect place to begin your walk in the woods!
Great service and a great logging atmosphere inside. Coffee was also delicious, enjoyed the great northwest Latte. The avocado was a little spicy for my wife but I loved it.
The breakfast was amazing and the coffee has to be one of the best I have ever had!

Great location for a quick cup of delicious coffee in downtown Port Angeles. The cafe itself is decorated with some cool Northwest imagery, with fun-named drinks to match. The coffee's were delicious, would have gone back if we were in town for another day.

super friendly staff, and quick service. my partner and i had sandwiches and coffee, the sandwiches were very good- quite filling as well. the coffee was delicious, and the shop itself is super cool. would come here again.
Great Northern indeed — this place passes the vibe check and delivers on quality coffee. Stopped in Sunday morning for a drink and a space to read. Very short wait time and there was plenty of seating. Loved the stool/bar options and enjoyed the background country music. My drink itself was good — nothing special — and comparably priced to other shops. All around, a good experience.
