Stumbled upon this place after a mountain bike ride. Sneaky little spot connected to an outdoor outfitter type shop. Had a good, local IPA from Volition (literally across the street from Volition) and my friend and I each had a sandwich. Sat outside and and it sort of felt like a vacation. Will stop in again next time we are up that way.

Nice spot in Northbend at the mid point of a cycle. Just off the trail! Had some beer and a great burrito.

It’s a comfortable place and I love the iced caramel latte. All the staffs are amazing girls.

Cute spot with couch and some leather chairs. Charged $1 extra for plant milks. The baristas were not knowledgable about vegan or dairy free options, they had a refrigerated packaged cookie option that “might be vegan” . Baristas were not very friendly otherwise, especially for midday on a Saturday. Matcha was pretty weak.

Solid coffee and breakfast options. The matcha is not sweet which is very much appreciated - most places sweeten it WAY too much. It’s a great spot as you can walk around and look at gear while you wait for your food.

We love stopping for a coffee at Arete on our way out to our next adventure! The staff are incredible and they have a great breakfast menu. Not to mention, you can load up on all your adventure goods at the bike shop. Definitely a must-stop in North Bend!

Cool little coffee place attached to a ski shop. Love the atmosphere and coffee selection. They have just about every milk alternative, including hemp milk, and outdoor seating. Worth the stop.

Great little café inside a ski supply shop. Friendly service, and a laid back atmosphere with a nice couch and feels like you're on the mountain.

Cosy atmosphere, great coffee, great food options, child and dog friendly. Details: Gluten free and vegan options with a surprisingly good selection of gluten free pastries. Box of toys and a change table with supplies in a large bathroom for kiddos.

Great latte. Plenty of power. And, all kinds of mountaineering gear to goggle.

Best place west of the continental devide to stop for a combined coffee, beer, and gear fix. Arête is a Northwest Treasure.

Incredible espresso drinks in a very mountaineering-friendly location. It's connected to a store as well.

This is the cutest coffee shop with great customer service, drinks and food! We were in the area visiting family and stopped in for coffee and a bite to eat. The place was packed on a Tuesday morning but the barista, Hailey, wasn’t frazzled at all and was still super sweet and helpful answering all of our questions about the menu. The coffee was amazing and the food was fresh. If you’re local to North Bend, make this your daily coffee spot.
