This place is delicious! They made their own hamburger patties, have espresso, homemade desserts, and a cute atmosphere.

Twice I have been to this establishment, great food, great cooks. I ate the most scrumptious homemade apple pie! Homemade desserts/breads for sale too! I walked out with a big loaf of sour dough after having a most delicious breakfast. I highly recommend the sour dough sliced and heated up with butter! I will certainly come again!

Whoever runs their Facebook page left a very snarky and condescending reply to a comment I made to someone else, and mind you it was on a totally unrelated page to this establishment. It was completely unnecessary, not to mention unprofessional. I had never even heard of this place but if I’m ever in that area I sure won’t be patronizing them.

Awesome food and service. Probably the best butter biscuits I’ve ever had. I recommend the bourbon caramel latte in the fall and the chicken fried steak breakfast.

I ordered a very full meal. The only good thing i had was the pie and soup (the presentation of the pie was horrible however). Everything else was inedible and i took it home and threw it away. I will say that their variety of pies is unmatched, which was worth a star on it's own.

Authentic homemade food in a charming cafe in a small mountain town in a heavenly setting. Really, what more could you ask for? We spent a week camping at beautiful Sullivan Lake just a handful of miles up the road. Wanted to check out the cafe for a hot meal and we were so happy that we returned two more times. What’s not to love? Homemade buttermilk biscuits! Homemade pies!! And the best homemade fries ever!!! (When was the last time you saw from-scratch fries on the menu instead of those awful, reconstituted and tasteless things from the restaurant supply vendor?!?). Breakfast served all day and lunch till mid-afternoon. The menu is large and has something for everyone. The staff are friendly and gracious and kind, and strangers are made to feel welcome. Don’t miss if you’re traveling through this corner of Washington. This is the real thing.

Great biscuits and gravy. Had that this morning. Pancakes are large in size too. Good atmosphere and great community.

Horrible customer service. Favoritism from the 1 waitress for the whole building toward “visitors”. Horrible wait time, it took no joke 2 hours to get a cheeseburger and when I had asked for silverware the waitress threw the silverware down at the table at me. When checking out and thanking them, the waitress gave a verbal hum back in response. I will NEVER be back, and will make sure to tell everyone I can to not go here. The atmosphere was negative and the young waitress should find other employment because she is clearly miserable and spreading it through her service at the farm house. Sad this is the only food place left in Metaline falls. Soon too be a ghost town!!!! Sad when you want to support small local businesses and the service is trash.

My only major complaint besides food orders not being given to the cooks correctly and them coming out wrong was the red headed waitress who made the other waitress work twice as hard on a busy day for them. I have 15+ years working in restaurants and this young woman worked harder at pretending to work than anything else. I felt so bad for the head waitress. She was overwhelmed and under supported. This is a 5 star place. I will give them another chance. See you next year at Bigfoot festival. Maybe I will come coook for you. :)

Awesome little cafe with a great selection of sandwiches, burgers, amazing fries (& other great sides), and some of the best baked goods! You have to stop in here if you are in Metaline Falls. Kimberly is awesome. Best hand-spun milkshakes/ice cream around (try the huckleberry).

Had the corned beef hash and it was just what I wanted. Food was excellent and service was perfect. If you are looking for a nice place for breakfast this is the place. Felt like you were at home.
