Heard a lot of hype about Masama. Boy was I disappointed
Adorable! Really eclectic selections too. We found everything we needed and some stuff we didn't need. Get there early for the breakfast sandwiches!! A little pricey I think because it's literally in the middle of nowhere and also because the place seems focused on an upscale feel, featuring really beautiful gift type items, handmade things, high quality crafts and gourmet, local, food items. All displayed tastefully but still with a small country store vibe. Rustic and elegant! We stayed at an Airbnb nearby and it really was super handy to have this place so close. Worth a stop in? Definitely. People you know would love gifts from this store. If you need real groceries to feed a family or a lot of people just head into Winthrop though. This place is cute and serviceable in a pinch but it is expensive.
So cute. We loved the baked goods and the store was adorable.
The salt baguettes here are so good. Come in around 9:30am and buy them when they’re hot from the oven.
Get the baguette. Best baguettes in the whole wide world
Great place for healthy and/or natural food
Loved it. Warm and cozy food
Great place to have a bite and coffee. Store and very good collection of grocery items and they make some great baguettes.
The only store in Mazama for premium priced groceries, baked goods, souvenirs, local artwork, etc. Can ski up for coffee and pastries during the day. Country bread is very good. Also your only alternative is to drive (or ski 30km) to Winthrop.
Decent coffee with a bit of a wait. The store has interesting options.
This place has the best baked goods. Raspberry cream cheese danish is the worlds best if you get it fresh out the oven. Gotta get there early for the goods. Life changing.
This is a tiny little shop. So cute! My teenagers enjoyed poking around to see what they could find. Got some snacks and we headed up Harts Pass.
Ordered a strawberry scone. Was out of this world good. Coffee was also very good. 10\10 recommend.
Great General Store to visit with a lot of fresh-great food & gifts.
This has been a few weeks now but my girlfriend and I locked our keys in our car while getting gas here and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful to get us assistance and back on the road. Silly of us but still the people here were amazing! Plus the store itself is everything you might need on the east side of North Cascades NP. Highly recommend for the location, necessities, and the people!
Eye candy in every aisle. Fantastic produce and store made lasagnas, etc for our dinners.
It's the BEST general store in town, it's the ONLY general store in town! I was impressed with the selection which includes a wide range of food items for the light hiker or hardcore car-camping chef. Beer & wines included. Decent gas prices. Olympic Otter
The store is well-stocked for a small town. Most of the items are higher-end and pricey. My husband called it a 'pretentious' little store and I agree though, as I said, well-stocked.
This place is cool. Coffee bar we can get sandwiches outside of the grave seating area really large store with lots of everything you could ever need out here lots of high-end stuff thanks people. Good cell service here as well versus years ago when we were here we could barely get any so that’s a improvement. You’re looking for a nice cool place to hang out eat or drink and enjoy the weather then get here!
Get the baguettes and take them on a hike in the North Cascades. Great service and cool store.
